I bought this armband to use mainly for running but also some for working out. I like the fact that it completely covers the nano. It straps on easily and is lightweight and very comfortable, especially when working out because the neoprene armband is less constrictive compared to the rubberized materials I've experienced with some other armbands. My only complaint I suppose was a little difficulty scrolling at first but then I got the hang of how hard to push on the window and can do that with no problems. Overall, good armband and quite a bit less expensive than some others in the stores.

I was hesitant to purchase the arm band due to the negative review regarding the plastic vinyl covering over the controls. Many reviewers complained that the plastic vinyl covering was too thick therefore creating an inability to select songs. On the contrary, I have no problems and currently enjoy running with it.

The arm band works fine, although it is a bit tight around an average male bicep. The main problem with this product is the plastic cover. It is slightly too thick, making it difficult / impossible to manipulate the ipod while using a treadmill / stationary bike. I had to resort to cutting circle of the plastic cover out in order to have better tactile control of my IPOD. I would not buy this product again.

I bought this sucker two weeks ago, have used it for about 3-5 runs now and I'm back on amazon shopping for a replacement. Frankly I'm surprised how many 5-star reviews it got. It seems pretty obviously bad to me. I've owned two ipod armbands in the past, so I have some idea of what's good and what's bad. I immediately suspected I was going to regret my purchase the moment the band came out of the box. It just looks shoddy and low quality.

The good:

- armband fits on medium sized male arm

- armband is made of the right kind of material, is stretch and velcro holds it in place well

The bad:

- plastic cover is indeed too thick to make the scroll wheel operable underneath. you will indeed have to cut it out around the wheel.

- getting ipod in and out of the sleeve is not very easy. the sleeve has an opening at the top to slide the ipod into. first you have to fold back the layer of material that covers the opening. then you have to find the correct sleeve for the ipod to slide into (there are two). then you have to slide it down into the opening without having the ipod poke out of the hole you cut into the plastic (see above). getting it back out is a bit easier, but still not trivial.

- the hole for your headphones is tiny and looks basically like someone poked a hole in the material with an icepick. the ipod can move around inside the sleeve because the sleeve has so little structure, and getting the headphone jack into the tiny hole and aligned with the ipod's receptacle can be a struggle

From the look of the online photo, this device seems very sturdy but, I was very surprised when I saw it in person. The armband is very small & does not expand enough to fit bicep/arm comfortably. The sleeve does fit the IPOD completely and provides protection but, the plastic cover makes it hard to use the buttons on the IPOD. The opening for the headphone jack is not molded correctly and causes the headphone connector to pop-out during use. The design looks great but, but I don't believe the designer actually got the dimensions right. I would not recommend this product unless you want to make additional personal modifications to the case after purchase.

The armband was purchased as a XMas gift for my daughter and was defective. The hole on the armband needed to plug the earphones was on the wrong side of the armband. She decided to keep it because it would be a long process to mail it back and get another one. Also, she lives far away and I don't know when I will see her again. My daughter had to make her own hole. I was a little embarrassed to say the least. The picture makes if look so much better. It looks so cheap when you see it in person. Don't BUy!!!

The product does what it is advertized. I can also confirm that the armband can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. I have only used the product a few times since the purchase. One potential issue that I have noted is that if you work out hard and sweat, a lot of moisture collects in the case in which the iPod is held. I do not know if this could be something that could eventually interfere in the functioning of the iPod.

This armband is worthless. The plastic on the front is incredibly frustrating. I'm in the process of looking for a replacement now after just trying it twice. Probably will have to throw it away. It's a shame I had to waste the money.

I bought this with the intention to use it while running but I sweat a lot when I run and this armband does not protect my ipod from the sweat. It would be a great armband for someone who doesn't sweat but if you're like me don't waste your money. I ended up buying a marware armband and so far so good.

This armband is comfortable and easy to get the iPod in and out of. The only problem is if you want to sync the iPod you have to take it out of the case. You can turn the iPod the other way and have the arm band upside down. The front plastic window is easy to use w/ the iPod. The iPod sits in the case nice and snug like. I would definitely buy this case again.
