Product Description

This lightweight and comfortable armband fits iPhone 4 / 4S, iPhone 3G / 3GS and other smartphones up to 4.5" in length some of which are listed below. Its many features and benefits provide unmatched comfort, convenience and protection while you run, workout or listen on the go.

The low profile, neoprene armband is stable and secure so it will not bounce or slide down the arm. It maximizes comfort with a design that helps keep the back of the case laying flat against your arm so it is not lumpy. Your arm actually pushes the phone into the case which is way more comfortable then the case pushing the phone into your arm.

To provide as much protection as possible during your workout rigors, the top entrance is covered while openings in the bottom provide vital access points. Other features include: a clear, protective window cover with full navigational control; a flap to securely store and manage the earphone cord and a reflective logo.

The armband is washable and adjusts from 9" to 17". For larger arm sizes, see EX3 Armband Extender (sold separately) which increases the maximum arm size by 6.5 inches.

Some other devices that fit: Blackberry Bold, Curve, Storm & Tour; HTC Hero & Magic; LG Optimus S.

Does NOT fit iPhone 5 or smartphones over 4.5" in length. See models AB83 or AB86 to fit smartphones over 4.5". If you want to carry your smartphone inside a protective case, try AB84 or AB85.

Maximum size: Length: 4.5" - Circumference (2X width plus 2X depth): must be less than 6.5".

Fits perfectly... I have small arms and often the armbands are too big.

Update: on longer runs, I do get some sweat leaking through the back of the case. Personally I find it unfortunate rather than a serious detriment since it's never too bad in my case ... but it may be an issue for your use cases.

I spent time both online and in stores trying to find an armband for an iPhone 3GS so I could take it running and make use of the maps and stopwatch when in an unfamiliar city. After reading many reviews, most said it wouldn't stay in place while running or allowed too much sweat to seep through to the device inside. At first I was concerned that this product was for iPhones "and others" or something of the sort, but the fit is snug and it stayed firmly on my upper arm without sliding for two of my weekly (longer) runs. The only downside is that the front plastic doesn't fit completely snugly on the face of the iPhone so if you want to tap the side of the screen you have to get a small slack part of the clear screen out of the way (or take the phone out completely). However, manipulating the 3GS touchscreen through the cover otherwise works well.

Given the quality of all other products I found, I would highly suggest you put this near the top of your list.

This case is comfortable and you can use the touch screen just fine through the thin plastic cover. Fits the Motorola Droid perfectly and you can use the headphone jack on top just fine. I love this case for when I go walking/running using the CardioTrainer app! Definitly would recommend this case to anyone looking for a sports case for the Motorola Droid.

I originally bought this arm band at a local REI for my iPhone 3GS and am planning on buying another to replace the original, which has been lost. Reading thru the reviews here, however, has made me a bit puzzled, mostly at the less than positive reviews. So, as an avid runner (Marathoner and Triathlete) allow me to give this arm band a resounding endorsement.

Complaint from one review: "Jostling movement, ie, running, will cause phone to fall out of bottom of casing." While the "bottom" of the case is nothing more than a slit in which to slide a phone into, I too, was at first concerned about this as well. My remedy: simply up-end the armband on your arm, so that the slit opening is "heads-up" oppose to pointing downwards, allowing for the phone to possibly slide out. While not the most ingenious design feature by the company, it's something that can be quickly fixed just by thinking outside of the box.

Complaint from another review: "The arm band is too small, should be a wrist band." I'm 5'10" and weigh about 170lbs. My bicep is about 17 inches in circumference (give or take, I'm just guessing) and I have no problem with getting the band up on to my upper arm. On skin, the band sits perfectly fine and does not "slide" down the arm while running. Over fabric (say, a long-sleeved UnderArmour jersey for colder-weather running) the band will slide a little bit, but nothing crazy, not enough to make one stop and readjust, maybe just reach over and give a little tug to replace it.

Complaint from another review: "Case is not water-proof/resistant, I sweated out my phone" the company makes no distinction in it's product description that the case is waterproof.

I bought this for my Blackberry Tour, and it is the perfect fit. It isn't too hard to secure, and it's not going anywhere once it's in (be sure to have the opening facing UP when you are running). It seems to form a decent seal and I would even feel confident taking this out in a light drizzle. There's a flap in the corner for headphones so I just turn on Slacker or Pandora and go hit the pavement.

Two important comments about this armband. First, I use it as a forearm or wrist band. It cannot fit on anyone's bicep, not even a child. Second, the pocket has a loose fit for the iphone & it will slide out of the top. Because I actually like the forearm/wrist band aspect, I handsewed the opening (to narrow it) so that my iphone fit safe & snuggly inside. Might fit better inserting it with a handcase on first.

I bought this armband after some heavy Internet research and analysis of other consumer reviews. I am happy with it, my IPhone even fits with its OtterBox case still on so I don't have to go on a mission to remove it every time I want to go for a workout. I do RECOMMEND that you buy the extension band or if not you will be really unhappy since without the extension you will only pull this band up to your forearm. The plastic screen cover allows you to touch the screen pretty well, although it does take a little playing around with. Overall, if you are in the market for an armband for your IPhone I certainly recommend you buy this one plus the extension band. Enjoy and happy workouts!

When I dedicated I wanted to keep my Iphone in a case all the time and stop taking it in and out I had to find a new armband that would hold it in the case. This armband holds my iphone in my switcheasy Capsule Rebel Serpent case just fine. The controls work great, no problem using it at all. One thing I have noticed is that that top does stick out a little more than I would like but that is more on a cosmetic annoyance and not really a problem. The armband holds the Iphone securely so it will not fall out either. Great case over all.
