Product Description

For those who would rather carry their iPod discretely around their waist, then consider this lightweight and comfortable iPod Carrier which securely holds and protects your iPod while you enjoy hands-free active listening.

The iPod Carrier features include a zip pocket to hold accessories or the earphones when not in use and bound (reinforced) neoprene edges throughout to improve stability, durability and cosmetics. The iPod Carrier fits all generations of iPods and the stretchy neoprene pocket can also hold many other sizes of MP3 players and wireless phones.

The belt is hand washable and adjusts to fit waist sizes from very small up to a maximum of 38 to 42 inches depending on how tightly the neoprene belt is stretched around the waist. For larger waist sizes or to enable less stretch so the belt fits looser, a SW Belt Extender is available. See model EX2 which increases the maximum waist size by about 10 to 12 inches.

Pocket dimensions: H - 4.0" x W - 2.75" x D - 0.625". Fits up to: H - 4.75" x W - 3.0" x D - 1.0".

I've never used a MP3 player or Ipod to work out before. I recently got a 80GB Ipod and thought I'd try this waistband out. Wow! I usually wait a lil while before doing a review, in case there's an issue, but I gotta say, I am impressed by this thing. Fits great and don't notice it's even on my waist. I run 3 miles, for about 4 to 5 days a week. It's a great item. Definitely worth it.

It's excellent, I use it very often - bike riding, exercising, for walks with my dog. It even has a little pocket for anything small you might wanna carry with you, i.e. money, keys. The only disadvantage is the buckle is not firmly attached to the belt so it can slip. Too bad if your waist is wider then average, it doesn't stay in place and simply falls out. I tried to wear it over my jumper which enlarged my waist and it wouldn't hold.

I teach aerobics, and I've found this tune belt to be perfect for holding my microphone battery pack. It's just the right size! The tune belt fits nicely around the waist and can be easily adjusted. I've been very happy with it so far!

This thing is great, so light you can barly tell you have it on, holds my 30 gig and my 8 gig nano perfectly, and what I like is when I'm at the gym or running, I can just reach down, pull out the ipod and just hold the ipod in my hand without some confining leather case or something obstructing me from making adjustments, I can change volumn, song, pod cast or whatever, slide it back into the tune belt and keep going. It also seems to provide some level of shock absorbtion for the hard drive pod (less important for the flash drive nano, but still..)I've been using these tune belts since the walkman days, so glad they make them for ipods!

I'm 6'2" with 18.5" arms and for the longest time I couldn't find arm bands that would work for me. The Tunebelt saved me! No more arm restriction and getting in the way while lifting. It's much easier to ride mountain bike and row with this. This product is amazing. Doesn't come loose and it works great. It doesn't rub or irritate me and I use the little zip pouch for my house key. I have a 40" waist and there's about half an inch left so if you plan on getting this and you have anything over 40" I really suggest getting the extender.

This product consists of a large compartment for an mp3/iPod player, and then a tiny zippered compartment which I find to be terribly impractical. What was it designed for? What would be nice is to have two equally sized compartments, one for the iPod and one zippered compartment for a photo ID/cash. As it is, the first time I used it I put my photo ID in with the iPod and at some point during my run, I took my iPod out to adjust the sound and my ID fell out. Thank goodness I realized it was gone when I got back home, immediately hopped on my bike, and rode past a woman who had picked it up and recognized me from my photo and I got it back.

Otherwise, it is very lightweight and easily adjustable.

Does the job. But these things ALL are made for SMALL WAISTED PEOPLE. I am NOT Fat My waist is about 36" size and I am six feet tall pretty normal. But this holder BAREFULY fits my waist. As it DOES fit, albeit barely, I will give it a four star rating. But they should make these easily fit people up to 38" AT LEAST.

After using the belt for more than 6 months now, I like it OK. It keeps the iPod safe (it was always falling out of my shirt or coat pocket or I was crushing it in my back pocket). But it's got one problem that I think is intentional on the manufacturer's part but that causes problems. It's the way the hole for the headphone jack is in the middle of the iPod compartment. On the iPod, of course, the headphone jack is on one side so, in the belt, the end of the headphone jack is under the velcro flap. The effect is that if you bend over a lot while wearing the belt, then the velcro flap mashes on the headphone jack and eventually breaks it. This would not be a problem if you're just wearing it while jogging and not doing a lot of squatting or bending over or sitting down.

I see why they put it in the middle -- this way you can have the iPod facing you or away from you and the jack is still equidistant and the iPod can easily be turned this way or that depending on your preference. If the jack were on one side, you'd be forced to have the iPod facing only one direction in the pouch.

I just ordered another pair of headphones. I think this time, I'll use an awl and poke new jack holes, no relation to New Jack City. Perhaps the manufacturer could add two optional holes in the future.
