Just for the pure amateur,

Whilst this book is relatively old fashioned in its approach to tuning and repairs it does have some good fundamental facts to aid the DIY amateur pianist.
Seeming to be written by a developer of an early electronic tuning device, the text is very basic and limited. I would recommend this as an addition to your library, for basic reference only.
