This appeared to be a fairly comprehensive summary of the war in Africa between the British and English. It also covered the major points relative to the U.S. entry into the war there, but not much leading up the the U.S. entry, which was important to how this part of the war progressed. It did not reveal too much about how the French "leadership" were involved nor the resistant they gave when the U.S. forces invaded the continent. It also did not reveal much about how this part of the war needed to be the transition into the invasion of Italy for the allies to be successful in pushing back the Germans. Overall this was an entertaining and pretty thorough film of the war in Africa that involved the Brits and U.S. against the Germans and Italians--who had a prelude war themselves prior to the Brits coming. There could have been a bit more to explain how the Italians were influencing how Rommel fought the war and the resources he pleaded for from them and Hitler, which, if he had gotten more, may have allowed him to defeat both the Brits and the Americans. This is a good film to add to your WWII library. The quality is what you would expect from film so old.
