Tupelo
My 2 1/2 year old son loves this book! He listens to the story as if a charm is falling over him. He even tries to identify the "dog star" in the night sky when we are outdoors now. We found the book at the library and finally bought our own copy. My husband and I love it too. At my son's insistence, I even ended up sewing 2 stuffed toys for him that looked just like...

Decent, but buy Carmine: A Little More Red first.
Not as solid as her last book, but great for dog lovers. Images just as fun.

My 2 1/2 year old son loves this book! He listens to the story as if a charm is falling over him. He even tries to identify the "dog star" in the night sky when we are outdoors now. We found the book at the library and finally bought our own copy. My husband and I love it too. At my son's insistence, I even ended up sewing 2 stuffed toys for him that looked just like the dog's faithful toy-friend "Mr Bones", one for our dog and one for my son to sleep with.
