I think those are the best transition after sippy cups, where kids are big enough for a cup with a straw but want to avoid spills. the great thing is that it is easy to clean by hand or dishwasher and any straw fits perfectly.

With my grandchildren these saved the sofa, carpet, dog you name it. Will leak out straw if left on it's side but not out of cup so keep an eye out So very much better in the car also. I don't allow milk anywhere because that protein is nearly impossible to get out of car or furniture and it stinks! But for everything else such as pink lemonade these cups rock.

Use your own straws and the rest goes in dishwasher so helps keep germs away too. Highly recommend these, worth the price and last forever.

I have more than a dozen of these cups and have used them daily for over a year. However, recently, I noticed that the Dripless Straw Seal has started to grow mold, between the rubber seal and the plastic lid. It is in places that cannot be cleaned. I've tried everything. I contacted Tupperware and they said that it is not covered by their lifetime warranty. Their reply: "Tupperware brand products are guaranteed by Tupperware against chipping, cracking, breaking, warping or peeling under normal non-commercial use for the lifetime of the product. The condition of the product that you mentioned is not covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty for free replacement." This seems a little ridiculous to me but I suppose the problem doesn't fit the better of their warranty. I've always recommended these cups for kids but I will not be using them any longer.
