Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Because it employs six blades instead of one, this hand-powered machine works much quicker than a single knife blade and makes it unnecessary to bring out a food processor for a small chopping task. Perfect for onions, hard-boiled eggs, cheese, nut, and herbs, the chopper comes with a base to contain food, or it can be used on any cutting surface without the base. Pressing down the machine's knob plunges a wave-shaped stainless-steel blade, and each time the spring-loaded plunger springs back the blade rotates a little so chopping is uniform and thorough. Housed in rugged, transparent plastic, the chopper stands 9 inches high. One of Tupperware's handy food-preparation tools, the chopper is dishwasher-safe and carries a 90-day guarantee against defects. --Fred Brack

3.0 out of 5 stars Great . . . at first, October 30, 2002

This chopper was wonderful at first. Easy to chop things, easy to clean. But the flimsy plastic cracked within 3 months. I have had it now 10 months and it is falling apart. I do use it alot, but I would expect it to last longer - especially coming from Tupperware. My mother and sister have another brand (from another company that mainly sells at home parties) and theirs have lasted much longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Machine on the Go, May 1, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Tupperware Chopper Machine (Kitchen)
I bring this chopper with me when I go to my in-law's house to make Egg Rolls. The ingredients are bits and pieces of different vegetable and the chopper is just great to chop them all (especially onions). The fact that my mother-in-law does not have to take out her "huge" food processor and clean 'em up afterwards is a relief for me. She actually hinted that she wants one for Christmas.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tupperware Chopper Machine, March 4, 2002

The Tupperware Chopper Machine is a wonderful gadget for the small chopping tasks around the kitchen. You can use it with it's own base or on a chopping board.
I use it to chop up onions, garlic, peppers, nuts.
Small projects that you would usually need a small knife and take you several minutes only takes a few seconds with Tupperware's chopper. It is easy to clean and to assemble.
Unlike the other choppers I know that Tupperware has a Lifetime warranty so I'm not worried about the expense of having to ever buy another hand chopper.
