5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect design and function
I love these and have bought several sets over the years. They are wonderful for many in-kitchen as well as out of kitchen uses. They have held up and don't seem to get out of shape, the old ones are just as functional as the new ones.

I love these and have bought several sets over the years. They are wonderful for many in-kitchen as well as out of kitchen uses. They have held up and don't seem to get out of shape, the old ones are just as functional as the new ones.

As far as uses go besides the obvious dressing-on-the-side in a brown bagger lunch I have used them for quite alot of other things. Personally, I hate when there is one spoonful of something left in the fridge and have a giant quart jar taking up space. If i put the last spoonful of mayo, or olives, sesame oil.... apple sauce... salad dressing...in one of these than I can throw away the big bottle. That works out very well for me. Other uses:
Daily line-up of vitamins
or pills to go
collection of tiny thiings your not sure what they are...from the junk draw
Keeping track on anything small when traveling
Cookie cutters when used upside down
I have filled them with the *right* amount of bubble bath for my son to use so that I don't go to clean te bathroom only to find he has dumped the whole bottle in... that was very helpful!
Keeping track of small jewelry parts that I don't know what to do with..like the odd clasp or earring back... a broken bale, etc.

I have found many very good uses for these and expect to find many more. I never thought I would find this tiny size useful but it has been a great pleasure to have been wrong!

5.0 out of 5 stars These Puppies Are the Best!, October 15, 2002
This review is from: Tupperware 6-Piece Classic Sheer Midgets Set (Kitchen)
Finally, a way to carry salad dressing in my purse without the horror of an oil-soaked check book! These things are just the right size for salad dressing servings (2 tablespoons), have markings on the side so you can measure precisely, and WILL NOT LEAK! They really are the best, and a big help to dieters who want to have their own salad dressing when they eat out or brown bag it at work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tons of uses, April 3, 2002

These containers can be used for more things than you know until you own them. My husband especially likes them when he travels he puts in medicaitons in them so he does not need to take the large medication bottels. I've lost count of how many he has in his workshop. I use them in my sewing and craft shops. We love them :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect mini containers!, January 26, 2002

These containers are the perfect size to pack condiments with a meal to go. I like to put dressing in these to take with a salad. There also great for little snacks like raisins, and they're the right size to stand up a soft-boiled egg. The seal is great, and I've never had one leak. My mother has used hers for 30 years, and although they've yellowed a little, they still hold up as well as brand new ones. I haven't found any other container as small as these. Rubbermaid makes 4 oz. ones and ziploc's are about 6 oz., which are too big to fit in a standard lunch bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for more than you think, April 1, 2007

I ordered these originally because of the size and they were interesting. I use them all the time. They are perfect if you want to watch your portion size for salad dressing because they have the measurement on the side. They are great for your vitamins for the day, a few days, or the week depending on what you take. They often travel with me and are used all the time. You could even take them on picnics for small portions of your ketchup, mustard, or mayo without taking the large jars with you.

Use your imagination and anything is possible with these great containers!

5.0 out of 5 stars a million uses, January 30, 2007

These little Tupperware jewels have been around a long time. I got my first two for free at a Tupperware party in the l960's or l970's. Sadly, only one of those two remains; but I was ecstatic when I saw they still make them. I use mine for daily meds (take lots of vitamins, fish oil, etc. and it's perfect for my purse. They would be good for a serving of
salad dressing, something to put small pieces of jewelry in, etc. etc.
I have 3 sets now and if I can think of more uses, I just might order more!

First off, there is nothing more convenient and helpful in the kitchen than Tupperware. So it is with a heavy heart that I must write this. I have a cousin who is "a little person," and he was so offended at the name 6-PIECE CLASSIC SHEER MIDGETS SET TUPPERWARE that he went into a veritable depression. While visiting my house, he refused to eat leftovers. At first I found his behavior to be extreme, but he made a good point. What other slur would be deemed acceptible by a major manufacturer? He's right. The product should be renamed TUPPERWARE 6-PIECE CLASSIC SHEET LITTLE PERSON/DWARF SET TUPPERWARE to avoid this kind of pointless name calling. Little people have been marginalized for too long, and they're tax-paying citizens just like the rest of us. Beyond that complaint, however, I found the product very satisfactory. It keeps food fresh longer, and preserves flavor. Hence my profound ambivalence.
