I love tupperware. However, I was not happy with this purchase, due to the lid being very difficult to put on the container. I thought I was going to have to return it, but after quite a struggle, I finally managed to get it on.

I love the concept of this product, the color and the sturdiness, but will never purchase these again by Tupperware unless they begin making them with safer plastic. These are not BPA free, but I decided to try them anyway since they are for dry food storage (I am ASSUMING that leaching of chemicals is less common in dry foods). The problem is that after many washings, these containers still have a very strong chemical odor that transfers to the cereal (we eat Cheerios and Bran Flakes). The smell ruins my apetite just pouring the cereal from the container to the bowl! My sister has Rubbermaid, and I think I'll try those instead. Too bad - I like the color and style of the Tupperware better.
