This is the Best Gallon Pitcher available, works great. Cost a little more than some others but well worth it. Gallon size is great if you have a family. We also have a 2 quart of similar classic design, it's a great pitcher but rather small for our use. Actually have and use two of these gallon pitchers. Was skeptical of how well the gallon size would work, but ordered a second one after using it awhile.

This is definately one of the best pitchers available. Totally spill proof & easy to use & clean.

I use this one gallon pitcher for all outdoor events. It's large enough to use for the biggest family picnics.

Ok, so it's not cheap, I understand that but this is the best pitcher you will ever own :) My mother had one of these when I was a kid, hers didn't come in such a great color though. These are still as good today as they were back in the day.

I stopped drinking sweetened drinks a while ago and have started drinking only unsweetened teas. I brew my tea in a 4 cup measuring cup then pour the hot liquid into this pitcher while I brew up another measuring cup worth before adding ice and cold water. This pitcher takes the heat just fine. It also does well with my hibiscus tea which is a bright red color, no staining at all.

This fits great on the top shelf of my fridge and I love being able to make a gallon of tea at a time. The seal is also very tight. My 11 year old is able to get this out on her own (even when full) without any spilling. She also has no problem pushing the button on the lid to open it up.

I keep this at my desk at work for my water. I am on 3 different medications where the side effects are dry mouth and drink maybe a gallon and a half to two gallons per day of water.

If you are not familiar with a Tupperware pitcher lid, let me give you some advice. Push down on the belly button in the middle with your thumb THEN lift up or down on the pitcher. If you don't, you won't get that nice seal & the pitcher could leak.

Am thinking about buying another one for the house since the Pampered Chef one leaks like a mofo!

Our family always has a gallon of ice tea in refrigerator. I purchased this pitcher after having my full 1 gallon glass iced tea jug slip out of my hand when I was taking it out of the refrigerator. What a mess. A million sharp glass shards floating in a gallon of iced tea on the kitchen floor. Never again. This pitcher is great. Built tough to last a long time, is unbreakable and has a sturdy handle so I doubt even I could manage to drop it. I liked is so much I bought another one to go with it. A little pricey for a pitcher but well worth it when I consider it will be probably see decades of use.

I gave this item as a gift and my friends love it. The only negative I would give would be the price...$25.00 is ridculous. I bought a rubbermaid pitcher at Rite Aid for $6.00 granted not quite as good as tupperware, but the price was right :)
