Tupperware and microwaves just go together like peanut butter and jelly. They cost a little more than other items on the market, but so worth it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not great for soup drinking. Alladin mugs are better., August 29, 2010
This review is from: Tupperware Crystalwave Soup mug. Orange with Blue seal (Kitchen)
I got this for soup at my desk -- the kind I can drink. I bought the all-orange one that does not show the pour spout open. When I got mine, I discovered that it opens the wrong way. I cannot imagine why they would design it that way. The only thing I can come up with is that it is NOT a pout spout, but a steam/heat vent. But why not make it open the right way and have it serve both functions?

The lid is also way too difficult to remove. This is actually something of a hazard with a hot liquid. Even with a warm liquid, it's a hazard to the desk, papers, pants, etc.

Once open, it's a decent soup mug. Nothing special, but functional. It has a nice wide, stable base, but no insulation. For what I wanted, I'll stick with the Alladin mugs.
