Great colander! The colander has feet so you can pour something into it and leave it in the sink to drain without it falling over like so many of the silicone or wire colanders do. The top piece makes a good skimmer or shallow colander for blanching in a big pot. And of course it has Tupperware quality! I have an older (OK, real old) similar Tupperware model and it's still practically brand new.

Like many of the other reviewers, my favorite 20+ year old colander finally broke. I've been searching for a replacement for a couple of years. I've purchase several others (metal, plastic, collapsible) but none did as well as my old plastic colander with handle. This is the perfect colander! The holes are the perfect size - no pasta slips out - no matter the size! The handle lets me strain it over a sink filled with dirty dishes. The plastic is sturdy and the extra flatter strainer has come in handy for small pots. The bowl shape is perfect for stacking inside other bowls in my cabinet - so, good use of space. I love it so much that I bought 2 more - one more for me and one for my daughter for when she goes off on her own. I highly recommend this product. You'll never go back to the others.
