I had my doubts about how easily it would open - someone in my home has arthritic thumbs] and how long it would last - already a couple years and good as new. No criticisms at all. Save and buy big blocks of a couple pounds of sliced "american cheese" [or what ever it is - cheese in name only, but loved by kids and irreplaceable for grilled cheese sandwiches and egg omelets] and freeze the parts you don't use, while the Cheesekeeper keeps the current portion secure, clean and convenient. Another tupperware triumph!

This cheese keeper not only keeps your cheese fresh it is good with guacamole too. It is hard to keep guacamole fresh once the air hits the avocados but this container is air tight and keeps it fresh for days. I cannot wait to buy another one, great deal for the money.
