Tupperware Spaghetti Dispenser. Brillant Blue Seal

Unlike a previous reviewer I bought this item from a Tupperware saleswoman FOR its intended use. I got tired of storing unused spaghetti in its original box having to fumble to get it out everytime I wanted to cook pasta. I do agree that the container seals it up very nicely. One important selling feature is that the inside lid has these openings in it where you can measure out how much pasta you need at any given moment. That way you can cook only the amount of servings that you actually need. The dispenser stores up quite nicely in my pantry.

I was thrilled to find this product, as it both stores and measures long pasta. It is very similar to my old favorite spaghetti measuring containers which were made by Rubbermaid but are no longer sold. The "be careful" part is that the measuring top came off the first time I was trying to pour out a serving. The measuring top came off and all the spaghetti poured out all over my kitchen counter! When initially loading the container, I had pushed the measuring top firmly down into the container until it "clicked" and I don't see how/where it could be further locked into the container. If the seller reads this and can advise me, I would love to be given any tips.
The service/delivery time was excellent.

The Spaghetti Dispenser is totally awesome. I now have a sealed container to keep my spaghetti!
The order was shipped promptly and arrived safely packed. The plastic serving insert fits snug, at the same time, is easily removed for filling the container.
I bought the Blue Seal version over the Red cap version due to reviews that the insert in that model had a tendency to fall out while you were trying to use it.

Great! Hey, its a Tupperware product, so you know it is great! Glad I purchased, my husband was glad as well, he says the portion measurements are great, and that way we don't have waste!

These work really well as long as you make sure you click them into place. These have really has helped me organize my pasta storage.

The Spaghetti Dispenser is a perfect way to keep spaghetti that otherwise would be left in an open box or wrapper. It will hold two pounds of spaghetti (possibly even a tad more), has a sort of window that runs up an entire side so you can see inside, and seals tightly, and it's a nice compact size. Pasta is kept neat and clean, as opposed to being exposed and spilling out of original packages. The insert that fits into the top of the container for measuring pasta, though, 1) tends to fall out unless you hold it in place with a finger while pouring spaghetti out, and 2) may or may not provide the measure you find useful anyway. (I prefer the Fox Run Spaghetti Measurer which just has four simple rings for measuring.) I don't downgrade the product for this limitation, however, because I just leave that insert out and don't use it. I'd give the product five stars if it didn't even have the imperfect insert, so I don't take points off because the insert is of limited value. I just don't use that part and enjoy the simple container itself.

I bought this item for a reason totally not related to it's purpose. I was at a party and a friend of my pulled this out of her tote bag. She has made her own beverage and brought it to the party in this dispenser. It's tall and doesn't take up much space. Works perfectly,no leaking. Now it's my favorite way to BYOB.
