For a long time it was difficult to find this type of salad spinner. The stores do not sell them. Instead they have the "string" or "pump" salad spinner. But ones like this which you control the speed of the spin with your power by grabbing the handle and spinning, does a much better job. Really dries the lettuce.
I was very happy to have found this with Tupperware. My first spinner which I purchased years ago was also from Tupperware and I loved that one too!

This is a great product. I like the fact that, after spinning the salad, the whole thing can be store with the top on to save the salad.

Not a Complete Spin,

This is a nice spinner as you look at it. What does not work is the actual spinning. My lettuce was not keeping well because I could not spin all the water out of it. I went back to the OXO spinner- the stainless one ( new model) is great.
