I grew up on Tupperware but switched to Rubbermaid as an adult due to the cost. I'm switching back to Tupperware because Rubbermaid's new silicone seals do not last more than a few years and no longer fit on their containers. I'm still using Tupperware from 30 years ago and their design really hasn't changed to this day.

at office,home and away. very convenient.

I love Tupperware! There are a lot of plastics out there that, believe it or not, are unhealthy. Remember the plastic water bottle warnings? Tupperware is not made from the same plastic as other, less expensive products. AND you can use them for other things besides to store cereal; they make nice canisters, too. I put cornmeal, brown sugar, powdered sugar, oatmeal (and other hot cereals), and macaroni in mine. Easy to pour, and the possibilities are endless!

I live in a large apartment complex and, to avoid pests, I put everything that comes in a non-resealable package in Tupperware. That way, I know it's fresh and okay to eat. Even if you don't have a pest problem, you'll want to do the same.

I highly recommend this product...as well as all Tupperware products.

I recently bought a massive bag of oatmeal from Costco and wanted to store it in something a little sturdier. I googled "cereal storer" and saw this item and all it's five star reviews. Good enough for me. It arrived today, and my first reaction is, "eh." It seems like it will do the job fine, but I really don't understand what's so special about it. I think I saw something at IKEA for about $4.00, that probably would have worked just as well. Oh well.

Wonderful product. Washes easily. Keeps cereal fresh and its the perfect size for the whole bag at once so you dont get some stale by the time you get to it. Had to get a second one for my husband.

The cereal storer is just as it was described, and keeps cereal very fresh. I would have liked to have known the height of the containers before I bought them, because I use them on a buffet that has an upper cupboard. But they fit under the top cupboard perfectly! I bought 4 because we have a Guest House and use them every day. They were brand new and a very reasonable price. You will not be disappointed if you buy some!

These cereal containers are perfect for medium to large boxes of cereal. The top opens to a wide mouth (the second picture used here is more accurate, the one with the big square opening instead of the small round opening.) so cereals that have large pieces are not a problem. The best thing about these containers is that they keep cereal fresh for a really long time, no kidding. I have tried other brands of cereal containers and they could not keep cereal fresh like Tupperware does. I love cereal, but I cannot eat very much at a time, so a box lasts me a very long time. I used to throw out a lot of cereal before I bought these containers. I'm not even sure how old some of the cereal I own is, but it still tastes just as fresh as the day I opened the boxes.

The only criticism I'd have would be that the image shown does not match the actual product. The one with the round opening is a smaller version of this container, that I also own. I'd like to see Amazon correct this with an image of the actual product. Amazon's price on these can't be beat though, and free shipping only sweetens the deal.

I ordered two Tupperware Super Cereal Keepers for my daughter for Christmas, what came, one cereal keeper and one Pie Keeper! How can someone not see that they are packing something completely different? Anyway, I figured it would cost more to send back then the price of the item, so I kept it.

What could be better than Tupperware? We've been using these Cereal Keepers for many, many years and folks, at the risk of sounding like the late great Billie Mays, THESE ARE THE BEST FOR KEEPING YOUR CEREAL FRESH AND CRISPY! Keep them closed and your cereal will be as fresh as the day you purchased it! And they are practically indestructible like all Tupperware items! I think they make three different sizes, and I've seen both blue and red covers.

Straight up, if you want to keep your cereal fresh and crispy, buy these Tupperware Cereal Keepers and train the kiddies and Dad to close the lid tightly! You won't be sorry!
