Over the years I've purchased three sets of Tupperware canisters, and I will probably never buy another brand. They are airtight, unbreakable and look nice on my counter. Tupperware also guarantees their durability and have replaced items for me that cracked or just didn't perform correctly.

The Canisters were OK once they finally came. Amazon or the provider never promised that they would make it in time for Christmas, so I knew up front, but I was still disappointed that extra care wasn't taken because of the Holiday season. As far as the products, I envisioned them being a lot larger than they were. I was thinking of my old Tupperware containers that I still have and still hold a lot of flour, etc. These are not that big, but they look nice.

It took less than 48 hours to receive our canisters. My wife is very pleased with this set. We started investing in Tupperware a couple of years ago to keep our food safe from pantry moths. Initially, my wife was very frustrated with how difficult it was to seal and/or remove some of the lids. A friend shared a tip that proved to be the FIX-ALL to her struggle.

First, soften the lids in very hot (not quite boiling) water. Next, pour an inch or so of very hot water into container, fasten with lid and invert onto counter top. The lid will swell, then recede. Allow the container to cool completely before removing the lid. This may need to be repeated on some of the most stubborn ones, but it worked like a charm and my wife has not had any problems with managing the lids since.

Well, these do keep insects and bugs out. As well as you. Once the lid is on, it really stays on, with no really easy way to get it off. I bought these for my mom and she couldn't get the lid off, I had a VERY difficult time. If you only need to get into a contained once every few months, this is it. However, if you need to store flour, sugar or other items used everyday, this container is more hassle than its worth.
