5.0 out of 5 stars very handy - I want TWO sets
These canisters are great. I intend to buy a second set. They keep food fresh, convenient, and much tidier than the packages you buy it in. The lids are secure and easy to use, and they stack well. I also like the fact that they're opaque because I use the smallest one for coffee, which keeps better if stored away from light.

2.0 out of 5 stars Impossible to open
They seal well and I can close them (some force), however opening them is nearly impossible. We have all tried and have come to the decision that this must be a design flaw. The small lip is painful on your fingers. They really should have put a little finger lip that you could get your finger under or a slightly larger lip. Right now the lip just is painful.

I've had this for 1 year now, and not had a single bug invade the goods contained therein. I don't use much flour, sugar, and whatnot, but the sugar is as dry and granular as the day I bought it, and no flour bugs whatsoever.

You can't get much better than that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Owned for 10 years, June 20, 2008
I got these as a wedding present from my in-laws 10 years ago and though I wasn't excited about them at first, I now realize how much I miss them.

Just recently, my second from the largest decided it couldn't keep it's seal anymore. My sugar now comes out lumpy and hard. I will definitely buy these again. Though they may be hard to open at first, they get easier. I've even dropped mine and the lids have stayed on.

Highly recommend.

This is a great canister set. It has the reminder window on the front side so you can when you are running low on a product. Easy to clean. Just another great piece of Tupperware.

We have two sets that we use regularly. The "see through" section at the bottom is great for enabling a quick peak at the contents, while still maintaining an opaque container. The lid is also is very sturdy and "pushes down to snap in to place, making it obvious when it is closed.

My only complaint is the sizing. The two largest sizes are very useful for flour, sugar and the like. The smallest size, however, does not seem to get a lot of use in our house. While it would be stackable, it seems to waste cupboard space (and we don't have a lot of use for a container of that size.)

I have purchased some Rubbermaid serving savers which are much nicer to open and close.
