5.0 out of 5 stars Love these "souper" mugs!! (Not so much...)
I have an older version of this product purchased some years ago at a Tupperware party. It was the envy of two co-workers whenever I used it to prepare my instant oatmeal or to heat soup and other lunch fare. When I saw it on Amazon.com, in a fantastic new color of blue (mine is a basic clear with black lid), I surprised my friends by ordering two and giving one to each...

I am very displeased with this product. The lid is difficult to get on. It is easier to do if the vent is open, then when the lid is on close the vent. 2.0 out of 5 stars Good for heating and that's it., June 9, 2011

I am very displeased with this product. The lid is difficult to get on. It is easier to do if the vent is open, then when the lid is on close the vent. Most of the time when I put this container in my lunch bag and take it out at work, the lid is always off. I've only used it about five times but I've had enough. Today, though I made absolutely certain it was firmly sealed, it was somehow opened while I was driving and soup is everywhere.

I closed it back up, but after a few minutes I heard a "pop" and yes, the lid popped off of it's own accord. Whatever closure it has is not strong enough. Whether I close it with the vent open or shut, the lid never stays on for long.

And what is the best Is tupperware's "fabulous" return policy that wants is to be "delighted" with their product ends 30 days after the purchase. So I could try and get a new lid, but it seems all the lids are ill-fitting.

My mother bought this same mug a few years ago in a clear color with a black lid. That one works perfectly, and without gaudy coloring.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great bowls though agree with tough lids, January 24, 2012

I read through all of the reviews before deciding to buy these. I love the bowls but do agree with the fact that the lids are tough to put on. That doesn't bother me too much though since we rarely use them with the lids on. I chose these bowls because I wanted soup mugs for my kids that had handles and were not really breakable. The price was great and beat out my local sales lady. I would definately purchase again.

I have an older version of this product purchased some years ago at a Tupperware party. It was the envy of two co-workers whenever I used it to prepare my instant oatmeal or to heat soup and other lunch fare. When I saw it on Amazon.com, in a fantastic new color of blue (mine is a basic clear with black lid), I surprised my friends by ordering two and giving one to each! They love them as much as I do. The grab handle is very convenient and isn't hot to the touch after microwaving, the steam vent on the lid is simple to use, the mug (actually a bowl with a handle :o) is very sturdy and doesn't discolor or blister from tomato-based/greasy foods-a real plus (I must modify this: after a few uses, we found that the new mug does blister badly when contents boil--worse yet, an email to Tupperware went unanswered--I'm just sorry I can't change the number of stars I originally gave this review).

I was looking for the old clear Tupperware Microwavable Soup Bowls, but when I couldn't find them, I decided I'd try these. While they don't match my kitchen, they are actually beautiful. The only con I have is that it is difficult to get the lid on; therefore, I am not sending the second one to my mother-in-law. All-in-all another reliable Tupperware product.

I really like these for soup or oatmeal. The tops are a little hard to put on properly sometimes, butotherwise they do not leak.

I love this product. It's great for soup and the kids' Chef-Boy-R-Dee and Spaghettios! Perfect size! Goes from microwave to table and into fridge. Just remember to pop the vent before heating in microwave.

I also like the design of the handle. It does not attach at the bottom which makes it more flexible for bigger hands and stacks in less space than other bowls with handles that attach at the bottom, too.
