I bought this for my daughter - she enjoys using it. The material is a little thinner than I expected, but it works pretty well. It seemed a little pricey, but it does what it claims and has not fallen apart after several washings. :0)

I was very, very disappointed with this product (Turbie Twist). I found it not to be absorbent at all! Believe me when I tell you that I have VERY thin hair; when I say thin I mean THIN. Evenso, the Turbie Twist was not able to dry my hair. I left it on my head for the same amount of time that I leave a normal bathtowel on my head and when I took it off, my hair was still too saturated to style (I could still wring water droplets out of it). So I put it back on and wore it a little longer. My hair was still wet after I took it off. By this time I really had to finish getting for work and my hair was still too wet to style so I had to wrap my hair in a normal bathtowel, just as I always had before.
The whole point of purchasing the Turbie Twist was because wrapping my wet hair in a bathtowel after a shower was damaging my hair; causing it to break and pulling some of it out everytime. As I mentioned, its already thin enough to begin with. I tried the Turbie Twist a couple more times and each time I had to leave it one longer than it took me to get ready for work and it was still too wet to style (due to my hair already being thin, I choose not to use hairdryers). I realized that my hair would have dried faster if I hadn't wrapped it all and instead just allowed it to air dry without wrapping it in the Turbie Twist in the first place. Instead of drying my hair and absorbing the water, it seemed to be trapping the water in my hair! "Super Absorbent"? Not in my experience. Not even close. Unfortunately, I am forced by Amazon.com to give this product a star, which I feel it does not deserve.

If you have long hair like my daughter...you'll love this! Wrap your hair up...secure the end in the little elastic loop and voila! it stays up there and doesn't flop in your face as you are walking around..getting dressed..whatever.

I purchased for my daughter because regular towels were to big for her head. Works great and I love it too for me!
