This is actually a great idea and it does work. However there are a few things you need to know before you buy. It is advertised as compatible with all major cell phones. The actual charger is a generic battery operated "thing". The problem is, it comes with a couple of adapters and they DO NOT fit all cell phones. Chances are you will have to get an adapter specific to your phone. Communications with this company is not easy( AMAZON is no help with third-party sellers). With effort you need to navigate through their website , find the long list of possible adapters , none of which are identified for a particular phone model.( I have a Samsung Walkman which takes a TA112 adapter.) Then you need to contact the company; I left two phone messages, they never got back to me, and it took three e-mails to find out which one fits the phone. They are "free" with a $1.99 shipping charge - no big deal. The adapter I needed took a week to get to me. If you have the patience It winds up being useful to have one. Unfortunately the whole process took so long, I didn't have it in time for the trip I was planning. IF you do order , ORDER EARLY!!!!

I purchase 4 of these units for geeky presents for my nephews and nieces. The product works well and is better than the single cell model. It also works better than the Energizer model which looks similar. This unit has an on/off switch as well as a flashlight. The best feature is the built in battery condition meter (3 led lights). It will let you know when to change the batteries. Battery life will vary depending upon the level of charge on the cell phone or ipod.
The customer service department is almost non-existent. I emailed them three times and left 3 messages on the customer service answering machine. I was trying to order an extra ipod adapter as well as connectors to new models of cell phones. Got a short email that stated that they do not sell the ipod adapter separately. They answered none of my other questions.
The product is very good; just hope you don't have any questions, or difficulties with the adapters. Good Luck

item itself may be fine, bt the description indicated that it would work with all lg phones. i have two different lg phones and none of the adapters work with either. i checked the companies website and no adapters are available for my phones,it would have been nice had the information included which phones the item worked with.

I like this charger Its been very handy so far and the light on it is nice also...

Does what it says it will. Great for emergencies. Flashlight is a nice extra touch.

I'm not sure how much I trust it's charging capabilities - my phone's light turned green as soon as I plugged this into it. I know my phone was not charged up in just a few seconds. I will have to try again later and see if leaving it plugged in with a green light will still charge the phone. However, I did not buy this to actually "charge" my phone. I wanted a backup power supply for those "just in case" moments. Like during hurricane season (I live in South Florida). With all the different adapters that come with this, I can use this as a backup for lots of different devices. The mini USB adapter is very useful to power an MP3 player and many many other devices. For my purposes, this is exactly what I wanted for a very reasonable price.

Unlike the description, this charge is not for most cell phones. I have a Droid X and it didn't work for me.

i thought this product would be able to charge my htc cellphone, as it stated under the description that it does. But apparently, they do not have the connection wires they claimed that this device support. DO NOT GET TRICKED.... YEs, the product is cheap, but if it doesn't work then what is the point of ordering it??? too bad i ripped the case i cannot return .. it and i would not even waste my time and $$ on returning it... just tossed it out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This item is poor in quality (get what you pay for). Put batteries in and it lights up until you put the battery cover on and then it does not work. Also, it does not have adapters for most phones as it states, and the website included in the information packet to obtain a free adapter that will fit your phone is an invalid website.

You get what you pay for with this. Won't actually charge my phone very well, but will maintain charge OK if you leave it plugged in while you use the phone - kind of inconvenient.
