Hot Dang! How the heck did Sega do this, a touch sensitive control pad! I'll tell you some pros and cons.

The Pros

Oh geez, this thing has the most incredible features. First of all, the control pad. YOU DONT HAVE TO PUSH DOWN INNACURATE BUTTONS FROM THE ORIGINAL GENESIS CONTROLLER!!!!! This controller gives you 360 degree control, putting a pinhead on the control pad would make Sonic move. The rapidfire feature can be cool.

The Cons

My only concern is the rapidfire, if a button gets stuck down with rapidfire on, it goes out of control, just don't use it.

I was a hardcore game fanatic just like any other kid and I would play to the point of getting blisters on my thumb. On my 11th birthday my mother got me a Turbo Touch 360 for my 8 bit NES. The pressure pad of the time was similar to that which is used on today's Notebook Laptops. It took some getting used to but it was great. No blisters, perfect diagonal, it even had individual turbos.

Today I look at PC gamepad makers like Logitec and Saitek and wonder: "Why aren't you using this technology for your d-pads?" Most PC gamepads either have a d-pad that is too recessed, or too thick. Or so flimsy that it would just break entirely (Saitek P880). Sure everyone's moved onto 3D and analog, but there's lots of old school gamers still playing NES, SNES and Sega on their PC's.

I guess I'll just have to find a Turbo Touch 360 SNES pad and buy an adapter that will convert SNES signal into USB signal.
I could do the same with a Playstation controller, but their d-pads are such hard plastic, they kinda hurt my thumbs. >_<

Oh and by the way, the TT-360 was made by Triax, ->NOT<- Sega.
There were 4 versions, NES, SNES, Sega, and the rare PC pad.
You can find the PC one on e-bay, but its old serial connection.
Its not USB, only has 4 buttons, no L and R's or Start/Select.
