I love my Turbo-Wash,
This review is from: Turbo-Wash Pressure Washer (Automotive)
I am so happy, I was able to wash my whole house with my Turbowash. The siding was so dirty and with the Turbowash I washed it and rinsed it. It sparkles, and the upstairs windows were so easy to wash and rinse. They did have a little spotting but not enough to matter. Saved so much time and expense. The soap is wonderful. I love this product.

Not a real pressure washer, but not bad,

I had one of the original TurboWashers many years ago and missed it when it finally died. This new one works about as well. I use it mainly to remove grass remains from under the lawnmower and it does a pretty good job considering it is not running at 1600psi like a real pressure washer. My main peeve with it is that the control knob is incredibly stiff and needs a lot of force to change between "off",
"rinse" and "soap" :-(

Not worth the money,

Pros:
1. Its a good but expensive rinser. Cons: 1. No pressure. There is no force of jet stream coming out as claimed. Pressure is so weak that it doesn't remove the dead love bugs away. 2. It doesn't go the distance. Stand 4-5 feet away and the water barely touched any object at a straight angle. Your garden hose does a good job compared to the turbo washer. Needless to say, I have used it once and its sitting in my garage un-used.

Terrific Cleaning Tool,

I tried out my Turbowash on everything from washing my cars to watering our fruit trees. The pressure was great, and I had no trouble reaching the gutters along the roof line. I discovered it also does do a really great job of washing out those dirty trash cans. I can't wait to try it out on some other jobs around the house and yard!

With Good Water Pressure, This Is the Best Washer around...,

I really like this product and I was going to buy another for a friend for the holidays. I saw someone mention that the product didnt work well and the pressure of the unit itself was bad. Obviously some people dont realize that water pressure differs dramatically in different areas and since this is not a motorized device it relies as much on your cities water pressure as it does on its own nozzle, specialized tips and internal bladder mechanism to work effectively. I would figure that you need at least 70 lbs of water pressure to use Turbowash effectively. We have about 90 to 100 lbs of water pressure and the results are fantastic for us. It makes cleaning routines so much easier and the soap to water mixture is awesome. A very useful tool.

Turbo-Wash Works Wonderfully For Me & My Strong Water Pressure,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Turbo-Wash Pressure Washer (Automotive)
When I was a kid, a summer job I had one year was to help pressure-wash building sidings, windows, and fast food restaurant parking lots with a huge, loud, gasoline-powered pressure washer. I knew the Turbo-Wash hose attachment wouldn't be anything like that, but, still, I was pleasantly surprised!
I bought the Turbo-Wash Pressure Washer to wash hard-to-reach windows on my old two story house on the side of a very steep hill (so steep that my block is closed off to vehicle traffic). That means that some of the upper story windows are the equivalent of three or four floors high if they were on level ground. The tool reached all the the windows easily and I am very pleased! Initially, I was mildly disappointed in this product, but I'm glad I waited a few weeks after purchase to play around with this product, absorb the helpful manual, etc. My initial disappointment came from the fact that I was using the general purpose tip already on the wand when the Turbo-Wash arrived. It sprays too widely to reach long distances. However, when I put on the jet spray tip, wow! Another reviewer mentioned that this product works well only if you have strong water pressure. I agree and can't emphasize that enough! Fortunately, I have extremely strong water pressure where I live (I have to remember to shut off the water or garden hoses with attachments on them will swell and burst after several hours). The only thing I don't like about the product is the general purpose "Soft Suds" soap concentrate that came with it, which supposedly cuts spotting on glass, but doesn't do much. Once I run out of "Soft Suds," I'll save the container, since it is specifically designed to refill the Turbo-Wash unit, but I'll fill it with something that cleans better. It appears that most any cleaner of the thickness/viscosity of dishwashing liquid will work in the Turbo-Wash. I'm looking forward to trying the Turbo-Wash on my car and flagstone patio, too!

this product is not something I would recommend. The amount of water spray is no greater than with a $3 hose nozzle. Very disappointing.

These are OK for very simple jobs, washing cars, etc. If you wish to clean your deck, porches etc, get a larger one.

Defective o-ring on large slide out,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Turbo-Wash Pressure Washer (Automotive)
Just received washer on Feb. 11th 2001 and tried it for the first time on 12th. Water leaked where large slide out tube is. So I shined a flashlight on the tube area to find that the o-ring was half on and half out of notched area causing it to leak. So I haven't had a chance to see if it works well or not! I'll call the 800 number today and see what they say I should do. Otherwise, I believe the washer should work well. It looks like a assembly problem of the manufacture. I'll post what happens in future.
