5.0 out of 5 stars New Wave
This album is just hardcore with hypnotic beats and powerful vocals. They are similiar to KMFDM, but more of a hardcore metal element to them. It makes you just get up and move. A definite must buy.

THE SONG ULTRAVIOLENCE IN PARTICULAR IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF CD NOBODYS HEARD, AND A BAND NOBODYS HEARD OF. I DISCOVERED THEM BY ACCIDENT, AND ALTHOUGH THEY ARENT EXACTLY ORIGIONAL OR AMAZING, A COUPLE OF THE SONGS ON THIS DISC REALLY DO ROCK. 4.0 out of 5 stars Chaotica - Turbocharger, March 10, 2000

In Fort Wayne, IN, Chaotica is a breath of fresh air, being surrounded by bar/cover bands. Highly recommended if you like heavy dace music. Similar to Atari Teenage Riot or KMFDM.

I just heard one of Chaotica's songs, and they are awesome. They are one of the most unique groups there is. They are a combination of metal and techno, and they have so much energy, they are so cool.

Chaotica Turbocharger - An energetic CD from start to finish. Industrial electronic rock. The offshoot Chaotica remix EP "Offset Impact" is recommended as well, but Amazon doesn't have it for sale.

CHAOTICA's Turbocharger...Where to begin. Maybe by first saying its a blast of energy thats yet to be heard in music. Songs such as "Turbocharger" and "Ultra Violence" will leave you breathless! Combining influences of Dance, Industrial and Metal, they accomplished what few other electronic musicians have accurately done: mixed their influences into an orignal, unique sound. From start to finish, this is an amazing, powerful cd you will regret passing up! Get this hybrid of cyber-metal cd today!

2.0 out of 5 stars Industrial metal-style electro, July 4, 2008

I found Chaotica to be mostly filled with anger and angst.

These tracks are most like industrial metal music: Turbocharger, Lobotomy, Attack Formation, Drill, I Stand Erected, Project Desensitize.

Worlds Without Skies I found to have lyrics that are easier to follow.

The one track with a Star Trek theme is Assimilate. Aside: I personally found the Borg to be powerful, much feared, and slightly cool in a subversive way... but none of this is reflected in the music.

There are actually three tracks that are passably danceable, and they are Black Rose, Ultra Violence, and Hypergasm.

I bought the CD for 50 cents at a National Public Radio sale, so I didn't lose too much.
