More About the Author
Michael Crichton was born in Chicago in 1942. His novels include Next, State of Fear, Prey, Timeline, Jurassic Park, and The Andromeda Strain. He was also the creator of the television series ER. One of the most popular writers in the world, his books have been made into thirteen films, and translated in thirty-six languages. He died in 2008.

I'm adding this to prevent someone else from making the same mistake. No, this is not a new Michael Crichton novel. Amazon doesn't mention it (although Barnes & Noble does) but this novel is the French language version of the novel, "Airframe".If you have read "Airframe" - you probably don't need this book (unless you like reading French). If you haven't read "Airframe" - I suggest going to that book review to read more about it.

I bought this book together with Airframe. As it was presented in the English section and not mentioned/described as a French book, I thought it was a title I did not know. This does, of course, not take anything away from the quality of Michael Crichton's work, but it made a dent in my trust in the infallability of Amazon.com. I have enjoyed a very good service in the past, but have not had any response from the company when I pointed out their misplacement of this book in their English section.
