After being out of the superentendent side of the business for a few years this book brought me back up to speed. The text is well written and easy to understand. I recommend it highly for anyone who needs a book "just to be sure"!

This book went with my entry level class into Turfgrass Management and I have to say it just about covers all you need to know about turfgrass and the practices used to maintain it. I certainly recommend this book to anyone in the turfgrass industry and all students.

this is a very good book for students entering the turfgrass management. definitely whole lot cheaper than the college bookstore.

It is a very expensive book. I bought it for a class and I hope to use it as a reference if I get a job in this field, so it will likely pay for itself in the end. That is my hope. The only issue I have was the format where the discussions are alway on one page and the illustration that the author is describing is on another. Othwise its a good buy.

This book is very specific about every type of grass. I wish I knew how detailed this book was before I bought it. You could use it for a college textbook. If you need to know the names of the individual parts of the grass and what its DNA is then this book is for you. There are color photos of the various grasses as well.

I was impress how good the quality of the book was for the price; actually I though the listed condition of the book should of been (like new: used or good condition) instead of acceptable. Also the book shipped and arrived quickly, Thank you for great service and book.:)

Muy buen libro para todos quellos que se inician y no solo en el mundo del Turfgrass. Es muy facil de entender, excelentes imagenes, graficos detallados y cuadros explicativos muy bien desarrollados. No debe faltar en la bibiloteca de los apasionados del cesped.
