Still the Standard
Beard's book is still the standard text on turfgrass even after all these years. The information is comprehensive, although some of it is dated with newer methodology. My hardcover is durable and well-printed, so there are no issues with construction in my case.

invaluable content in a horrible quality
The content of the book is great, thats why I bought it. However, the quality is horrible and I regret that I dint buy a use old book with hard cover. This is paper cover, and I already broke it (in 1 month)... plus the ink and quality of the pages is horrible. For me, is irrespective with the author cause it content is invaluable.
