Earl Mickel ran all over the country interviewing callmakers for turkey hunters and dreamers alike. His labors brought forth a book that almost anyone can enjoy by campfire or lamp. Anyone that's held a custom turkey call in their hand can atest to the "feel" of having used a call that wasn't mass produced. A call that might bear your name, signed from the callmaker himself. Mr Mickel's book will make your mouth water reading and seeing his collection of calls. It'll sadden you that some of these great craftsmen have passed on and some will make you smile at their stories.A great book to read and a treasure to be in pocession of one.
