TRADITIONAL COPPER
Each unique copper piece is hand hammered into a shape by experienced artisans in Anatolia. They are made of thick heavy copper (.60 mm) with sturdy wooden handles.
WHY COPPER?
It is the best material to use for making Turkish coffee. Copper, more than any other metal, is known for its ability to diffuse heat evenly and are especially coveted for their ability to quickly bring water to a boil. Copper also looks better as it ages...just like the people do! Our pots are tin lined inside for durability and ease of cleaning.
