Horrible Craftsmanship,

There's a possibility I just got a bad one, but I don't know how quality control let this one by. The handle was cracked and there was drips of dried glue all over the handle. It looked like the piece of wood they used for the handle was a bit too short and slightly odd shaped but they didn't care and just stuck it on anyway (or a piece of the wood broke off and it was a horrible attempt to fix it). It was a piece of junk. Didn't look anywhere near as nice as the picture. Needless to say, I returned it.

Just received this yesterday. it looks like something you'd pick up at a used flea market for $5. I'm thinking the two high ratings came from folks who work for the company or something. It's super thin, has marks all over it, the rivets are all off, the wood was super cheap. just poor poor quality. I'm returning today.

The Best "Cezve" I've Ever Used..,

Excellent Cezve(Turkish Coffee Pot). The design is really traditional and elegant. The wooden handle is also perfect to prevent itself from getting really hot. 10/10 overall, what can I say!

This pot seems to be very well made, and I love the fact that it was hand hammered and therefore a bit rustic looking. So far we've enjoyed making our own Turkish coffee. Very pleased with product.

More trouble than it's worth,

If you've never used a cezve and you think you want to try, go buy yourself a french press and enjoy your favorite coffee. There are many elements to making great coffee with a cezve, beginning mostly with the right grounds. These things require the finest ground coffee. So fine, in fact, your grinder probably can't even make them. The solution then, is to buy turkish coffee, or get a special turkish grinder. (This thing keeps getting more expensive).
Step 2 is getting the correct amount of sugar and water inside the pot. Then you have to have the perfect amount of grounds. Too much and the bubbles can't seep through, too little and it wont make a seal. Step 3 is throwing out the 4th pot of coffee you accidentally boiled and ruined, because these things are freaking impossible to use. Good luck.

For some reason I expected this pot to be large enough to hold 16 ounces. It only holds 6 to 7 ounces. Otherwise, the product is okay.

This was a gift and I was very excited as the gift giver knows I love Turkish coffee. When I opened the package I was so excited when I saw the hammered copper and thought it was gorgeous! Then I looked at it a little more closely and it was a huge disappointment. The handle is glued on with massive amounts of glue which is running down the pot. There is solder all over, including inside on the bottom of the pot. The wood for the handle is definitely nothing special. Such a disappointment. It really does look like something you would pay $5 for at a flea market. I'm not comfortable using it due to the solder in the bottom.

This is a great company that really knows what they're doing. I love my little turkish coffee pot, it is well crafted and works great. They are quick to respond and even replaced my coffee pot when it was damaged in shipping. Definitely a company worth doing business with.
