I have taken Turmeric for nearly 3 years. It is a miracle herb. My doctor said I could use it. I no longer take any pain meds. for arthritis and headaches. I was hurt badly in an accident and my knee always filled with fluid and was tight and painful. After just 2 days of taking Turmeric capsules purchased at WalMart, the swelling was gone and also any pain. I am 66 years old and have had many aches and pains, but now it is all gone.
I do need to say though, that if I miss a day of taking it, I will feel my arthritis acting up, but then I take one cap, and within a half hour, all the pain is gone. It also is wonderful to take before bed, because it has a relaxing affect, and it cures any and all indigestion. I am a true believer in using Turmeric.

I was very skeptical of taking pills like this, but my roommate is from India and he eats this almost daily, so I gave it a shot. I am a relatively heavy guy, but I run 3-5 times a week. Before I took this I would have pains in my knees and joints, now, there is no pain. I hope its not all in my mind, but ll I can tell you is I have been feeling great! Highly recommended...

I've been taking this for while to help with arthritis pain (from a couple of accidents). It seems to help. I had to stop taking everything prescribed, such as Vioxx, Naprosyn. If I skip this for a few days, my pain goes way up.

I started taking turmeric for my skin after a friend taking it had noticeable improvements in the appearance of two old scars.
I struggle with the symptoms of subtype 2 rosacea. I prefer to not take prescription treatments but have used them for most of my adult life. To my amazement, turmeric pills have kept my rosacea under control for the last 9 months better than the BenzaClin I have been able to stop taking. The supplement also gives my skin a glow that friends and family have noticed. Truly a surprise.

A month ago I switched from the Nature's Way turmeric tablets to the less expensive Swanson Premium turmeric capsules, both of which are available Amazon. After a week on the Swanson Premium pills, my acne started to reappear. After a few more weeks, the acne worsened. Even in the worsened condition though, my skin never got as bad as it would have without treatment.
Now I am back on the Nature's Way pills and after one week, my skin is healing.

Other reviewers have said that Nature's Way does not provided dosing or content information. The bottle I have does. The recommended dosage is one tablet 3x daily. My skin looks good taking just one pill a day. According to the bottle, each tablet contains 450 mg of Turmeric extract (root), 95% curcuminoids and 50 mg Turmeric (root). The Swanson Premium brand recommends taking 2 capsules a day, which is the dose I tried. 2 of their capsules contain 1.44 grams of Turmeric (Cucuma longa) (rhizome).

In contrast to other turmeric pills on the market, the Swanson brand is not extracted or concentrated. Some people believe that it is better, both for reasons of health and absorption, to take complete root.

I've been giving this twice a day to my 88 yr. old mother for about 3 weeks now, and have noticed that she hasn't been complaining near as much about her arthritis in her knee. She also has DEFINATELY been more flexible in her bad leg when I have her lift it onto the footstool. Before she would visibly wince. So, I'm very happy with the product.

I cannot believe how my knees feel after taking this product for only 2 days. The arthritis pain is virtually gone.
I can walk easier and with more ease. I plan to try more swanson products very soon

The product, as before, is great. My doctor recommended I try it, and I haven't seen anything bad about it yet. The only problem that I had was with the shippers. Apparently UPS had problems delivering it due it needing extra checks by security. They couldn't exactly tell me what that meant. But that problem is with UPS, not the dealer.

I have been making this Turmeric myself with blank capsules and started looking
to see if they were available and guess what yes Amazon had them through
Swanson and what a relief. This is the BEST pill you can take for any aches or
pains. I started doing these when Robin McGraw was on a TV show and it works.

Me and my wife heard about Turmeric from my daughter's dance teacher who recommended it for muscle pain. We frequently exercise to the point of needing Advil (by distance walking and hiking). We recently added Swanson Turmeric after hard exercises. The Turmeric indeed helps. We still augment with Advil but the Turmeric helps with leg and lower back pain. We have had no negative side effects, definitely helps with recovery from exercise, and will continue to use it in the future. We are both over 50 and walk a minimum of 2.5 to 4 miles per day and on weekends we hit 5 and 8 miles per day.

..to the point: this is a great product; if your doctor recommended this product or if you just want to try it, all I have to is that you should.

I was impressed by the very good attention from swanson health products, by sending me info emails about my package, and a very fast shipping.

I don't regret this buy.
