Turmeric and the Healing Curcuminoids

I have COPD. I began putting a teaspoon of turmeric on my morning oatmeal and it did help my breathing. The book is a most interesting source of information on a good natural healing product.

This book give cursery information about the history and ongoing research, but never gives any concrete information on dosages, how long to take and it what quantities. Such information must be guessed by the reader. Much of it seems to be repetative. I suggest looking for another author with more information and practical applications. I did however, before I received this book, took 3 mgs of turmeric for arthritis and for unknown disease that may be lurking. The pain of arthritis did not return as I take 3 grms per day, I've just started flavoring my food with it. I may add it to my VitaMix morning super Green smoothie. Turmeric can protect against cancer and other forms of disease, and it probably help cure diseases, unless of course, one has already reached the point of 'no return', in whic case, nothing will help. Inasmuch as this is good limited information, if I ever came down with any type of cancer, I would never ever slash and burn. But for those doing these thing, I sggest three/~four miligrams per day thru the healing crises, assuming the PONR has not been reached. Helping the body heal itself is critical to restorig health, and it immue system is destroyed chemicals and radiation. Sixty per cent of doctors say they would NOT go through such an ordeal, because they are cowards who don't want to take away hope, which is mostly non existant. They told my fater he had tw years to live. Before Chemo therepy, I asked the doctor for a week to boos his immune system; his reply: I'm the doctor and it is I who will decide. My elderly father supported the doctor. He died in 2 1/2 weeks later. They wannt the money for the Chemo/radiation, and they know it won't work in most cases. As a researcher, I suggest you seek alternative theripy, like cancer center of America, or as I would do go to Mexico, which woiuld cost about $25,000 depending on treatment.
