Being a huge Enigma fan, I couldn't wait for their greatest hits compilation to come out to hear their new song "Turn Around" so when I found a copy of the song I immediately bought it. "Turn Around" is a beautifully haunting song which simply made me stopped in my tracks. It is a gorgeous song, of course any song that Enigma puts out is amazing. The Nothern Lights Club Mix was excellent. It added an uptempo beat to this normally subdued song. The chilled club mix of "Gravity of Love" (perhaps my all time favorite Enigma song) is awesome. It's different but I like it. This remix of "Gravity of Love" would be perfect on a chill out compilation. For the moment "Turn Around" is the appetizer that will have to keep me satisfied until the release of the group's greatest hits cd "Love Sensuality Devotion".

"Turn Around" is one of the new tracks off the group's greatest album. I knew I would like it the moment I spotted the cd single in my local record store. The song itself is a bit more accessible in the vein of "Beyond the Invisible" and "Gravity of Love". The vocals were outstanding as usual. The Northern Lights Club Mix is excellent. I can imagine hearing the remix in nightclubs. The Chilled Club Mix for "Gravity of Love" is great too. The infamous sample of "O Fortuna" is more subdued than in the original mix which is more bombastic. This new mix of "Gravity of Love" is a perfect afterhours song to listen to after a heavy night of partying, not to mention an addition to any chill out compilation cd. I like the addition of the multimedia track for "Turn Around" because seeing an Enigma video on tv is about as likely as coming face to face with Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster.

"TurnAround", Enigma's latest single, will be featured in the "Enigma Best" Album called "Love Sensuality Devotion". In some aspects, Enigma's "TurnAround" is a sum up of ALL 4 of the Enigma albums into one song, however, when included in the "Love Sensuality Devotion" album, it prepares the listener to be overtaken by the "sounds of Enigma" and provides somewhat of an entrance to the beginning of the Enigma universe, which is, in fact, "Love Sensuality Devotion". Enigma's TurnAround is very up beat, but the robotisynth, as one may call it, is very sensual at times, but that holds with much of the Engima universe. "TurnAround" features lyrics sung by Michael Cretu (creator, founder, and producer of Enigma!!), aswell as the "voice of Enigma", Sandra Cretu, whispering some phrases in the background at some parts. In addition to the "TurnAround" radio edit, there is a VERY sensual club remix of "Gravity of Love", and a club remix of "Turn Around". The "TurnAround: Northern Lights Club Remix" will be featured on the "Love Sensuality Devotion" - Remixes" album which follows the release date with the Engima Best "Love Sensuality Devotion" album. The "Love Sensuality Devotion" remix album features ALL of the Enigma remixes featured in past released singles. Although, "TurnAround" is an outline of the all past Enigma's, I feel that it is a marker for a "TurnAround" and the introduction of a NEW TYPE of aural Enigma. It is just my theory, but whatever Engima plans for the future, I will be listening!!

Turn Around, to me, seemed to be more "pop-like" than any other Enigma song. Many features were present in the song from their previews albums with extra added things. Which made this song extremely great. The main lyrics are quite distorted, but after you listen to them a few times you'll start to understand them. Like many Enigma songs, there are whispers in this song. The whipsers are titles of past songs.

The Northern Lights Club Mix, is a slower mix. It starts off like an enigma album with the "Good evening, this is the voice of Enigma..." with a little change. Like many other Enigma songs also, an orgasm sound is used in this mix. But, it's not the same one used in all their other songs. The song picks up beat and slows down a few times. In all, a really great Enigma mix that keeps the "Enigma Feeling".

Gravity Of Love Chilled Club Mix, is quite different from the original. A really slow song. The lyrics are clearer than on the orginal and the "O Fortuna" chant it quieted a bit. A new feel for Gravity Of Love.

The Video. Like any Enigma Video it's different. But, really good. You can form your own opinion!

This single is the only new track recorded for the very first official greatest hits package of Michel Cretu's ENIGMA.
The song, therefore, is a kind of retrospective of all Enigma has meant in the last eleven years. Gregorian chants, Eastern melodies and electronica melt together, spiced with Cretu's vocals and Sandra mentioning some titles of their previous hits. A perfect opening for the journey to the world of Enigma, a band that teaches us how to remember the future.

I walk around with my headphones stuck to my ears repeating TURN AROUND "Turn Around" again and again.

What makes Michael Cretu, the man behind Enigma, unique is that he always makes not-mainstream music, always fresh and pleasant to ears. No matter like you such music style or not.

Looking back for the 11 years of hard work, Enigma releases its "The Best of..." featuring completely new single - Turn Around. It proves that Michael Cretu is genius. In this track he uses rarely new sounds and samples. Mostly they are from the previous 4 albums. But it doesn't sound like smth old. It sounds completely new! What a beautiful compilation of the best Enigma sounds into one 3.24 track! Have you ever imagined how some 10 songs can be compiled into one but not making the mess? Only mentioning of the songs will point you to the combining so many songs. But the music will float measurely, beautifuly and unearthly - actually as all Enigma's work do.

If you're new to Enigma, it's not a good choice to start from this track, because you have to know the history of Enigma music, where from come that sounds and what do they mean. If you're very much into Enigma, of course you should take this single to enjoy the hallmark of Enigma music for the 11 years of its existence!

This is really good Enigma songs. They combine the sounds from their big hits and put it together into one song that represents upcoming the best of albums.
