From the Publisher
A wonderful source of support and encouragement for caregivers of aging parents through all stages of the caregiving journey. From when you first begin to realize that you mom or dad are growing older through the day when you need to release them into God's hands, this book will help you to know that you are not alone. Over 100 caregivers write openly and honestly, out of the crucible of their life experience, to help you discover, as they have, that God is faithful. Even if "we are too weak to have any faith left" (see 2 Tim. 2:13 TLB) he will NOT abandon us. He will minister to each of us, and to our loved one, in special and unique ways.
About the Author
Marlene Bagnull, the publisher, compiler, and editor, knows the pain and privilege of caring for an aging parent. During the five years she cared for her mother, she longed for a book she could keep on her nightstand--not a how-to book to remind her of more things she ought to be doing, but a devotional book written by other caregivers. Marlene has been writing for over twenty years and is the author of five other books. She teaches Christian writers seminars around the naiton and directs the Colorado and Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers' Conferences. In May 1999 she received an honorary Doctor of Letters for her many years of ministry through the written word.
