5.0 out of 5 stars Turn Me On is really a Great Record!
This is one of those releases that grew on me over time. At first it seemed a bit boring compared to their past early releases, but after a while I just couldn't stop listening, especially 'Nothing Inside', 'Slip Away', and 'i Never Liked You'. Very powerful and emotional catchy heavy rock, with great guitar work and lyrics!! I enjoy this much more than their previous...

2.0 out of 5 stars Way off their best
Don't judge the Doughboys by this album- their last. It does have a few decent songs on it, but way too many drift into Goo Goo Dolls style mediocre college rock. The energy and originality of previous albums is sorely lacking and it's probably a good thing they broke up when they did. Yes, it's got fantastic production and probably worth a listen for completists, just...

This album really delivers on so many levels. First of all, the production is great. As for the sound;... solid songs lead by driving guitars, and excellent heartfelt vocals. This is a very personal album by the Doughboys that really showcases their true ablity as musicians. Some great songs that will make anyone who listens wish they were still around today. Fans of Samiam or Swerverdriver should check this great band out.

In Germany nearly noone knows this band. Bad luck for everyone to be included to that group. I think this band and the turn me on album is to be known. Great songs, great voice, not only nice.

I've been a fan of The Doughboys since the late 80's, and they are without doubt my favorite band! Turn Me On has to be, in my opinion, the best they've ever done. Anyone reading this review...buy it! You won't be sorry.
