I have all of this Australian witches books. They are funny, insightful and downright helpful. This latest one is hilarious. Primarily geared toward women, but men can use them too!

I mean there are dozens of little spell books out there, and while I am not a practicing witch (even less wiccan) and thus cannot comment on spells (thou they do seem simple and cheeky), I KNOW what appeals to my sense of humor and life philosophy. In this book I appreciate the way the author recommended invoking the power of different deities (in my case a nymph) for each horoscope sign. sweet and humorous.

I have not bought any of these books but have graced alot of Deborah Grays books and the book store and I think they are great. Even though I am more from a Wiccan background sometimes different spells are needed at different times and its really up to each individual to use their judgement when it comes to casting gray area spells. No I do not agree with every spell she may represent and if so then I won't do it. But alot of her spells are very ethical and fun as I have read quite a few of them. There have been spells in alot of strictly "wicca" books that I don't care for. To each is his/her own!

This book is funny! Just the notion that I could make my boyfriend my love slave is hysterical! Some of the spells have the right idea, but who would really want to be with someone that they had to put a spell on? That is something you have to constantly keep doing to keep it working. Relationships are hard enough without adding the up-keep of spellwork to it!

Being new to the craft, this really confused me. To me alot of the spells seemed to be on the edge of taking anothers free will.
Then, again, that's just my opinoin.
