Excellent Book!, June 22, 2002
This book by the great Glenn W. Turner is 46 chapters and 326 pages and a joy to read. Most of the book is his autobiography. We learn that GWT was the son of a sheepherder, born a charity ward. We learn that Glenn W. Turner is deformed with a harelip and rops out of grade school in the 9th grade because of poor grades and constant harrassment by his schoolmates who enjoy making fun of his speech impediment. We then learn that Glen W. Turner, while working on the farm prays to God to show him the way to success and then promises to share the secrets with the masses. Turner gets off to a slow start selling sewing machines but then discovers Network Marketing and positive mind books, most notably, 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napolean Hill. The metamorhisis begins. Turner turns into a supercharged salesman and even beats the great Zig Ziglar in a sales contest. Dissatisfied with the company he is with, Turner starts his own MLM company selling cosmetics with a unique ingredient--mink oil. He calls it Koscot and creates a second company called "Dare to Be Great', which includes positive mind tapes, seminars and sales schools. Turners company explodes into a multi-national conglomerate encompassing 78 companies. Distributors explode to over a million and revenues explode to over $300,000,000 in under fuve years. This is in spite of the fact that the government is on his back, every second of every day during the whole five years. Then we learn of the abuse of power of the government at that time and find that Turner gets stripped of his wealth, reputation, his companies even his family. Turner, Turner, Turner is one of the greatest rags to riches to ruin to recovery stories of all time. It will inspire you, motivate you and even make you a little angry of the corruption that exists in this great nation. You will learn of Turners five steps to total lifepower. You will learn of Turners philosophy and perhaps for the first time, you will learn of the kindness inside this man who was named 'American of the Year' in 1972 for helping more handicapped people than any other employer in his state, possibly in the entire country. Turner, Turner, Turner is an excellent book and a must read for anyone. I also recommened CASHFLOW Quadrant, Rich Dad, Poor Dad and the SALES BIBLE.
