Incredible story of a son of a sheep herder, born in a charity ward with a harelip, dropped out of school in the 8th grade and went on to overcome every obstacle possible to create a $300,000,000 company starting with only $5,000 in under five years.He was the keynote speaker at Notre Dame and the Harvard Business School and was named "American of the Year" in 1972 for helping thousands of handicapped people achieve success.Glen Turner had over 1 millio distributors in his 78 worldwide corporations. In a three year period of time, he helped to create over 600 millionaires who would had never been given an opportunity without the principles taught in Dare to Be Great and his network marketing opportunity which offered superior products at a fair price.This was the easy part. Surviving the success was the hard part. The government spent over 20 years and millions of tax payer dollars trying to discredit him. Mr Turner successfully defeated over 1,100 attempts to destroy his credibility but finally was defeated i Arizona and was sentenced to 4 years and 8 months.But like Paul in the Bible who served 13 years, instead of serving time, he made time serve him. Mr. Turner contiued his philosphy of helping and encouraging others and was not about to let any man or government destroy his positive attitude and his love for service and dedication. He became better, not bitter. Today this true and patriotic man represents the greatest rags to riches to ruin to recovery stories of all time!Turner, Turner, Turner is an exciting, motivating, inspiring book that will make you laugh and make you cry. This is a must own in your personal development library.

Glen Turner is living proof that you can be ten feet tall and bullet proof--totally unstoppable and a modern day American Hero.Mr. Turner developed a network marketing organization in excess of a million distributors, 600 became millionaires back in the 70's.This book brought back many fond memories of the 'old days' with Koscot and most importantly, Turners super training program that was and still is unsurpassed. Also, I have fond memories of Mr. Turner and the caring he had for his people.I agree with the reader who said that if Glen Turner started a new company, I would jump on board in minute. I've tried the rest, Glen is the best.If you are in any network marketing company, this book is a must read. This book motivates, inspires and instructs...

What an incredible story of a man who just won't quit! Every possible adversity was thrown in his way and Mr. Turner overcame them all!Read this book. It will excite you and motivate you to reach your goals and beyond no matter what problems come your way.

Glenn W. Turner is truly a modern day Horatio Alger and probably the greatest rags to riches to ruin to recovery story ever.I couldn't put this book down. It is awe inspiring. And not just for Network Marketing either. You think you have some problems? Check out what this great man has been through, survived, became extraordinarily wealthy, lost it and came back and blessd the lives of millions of Americans.Glen Turner may have been named American of the Year. I think he should be named the American of the Century.

I went to work for Glen Turner with his Dare to Be Great and Koscot programs back in the early 1970's and was retired four years later.Need I say more?Read this book and prosper.

I heard Glenn Turner speak many years ago at Notre Dame. The man spoke to our marketing class and commanded three standing ovations!

While I didn't get into his MLM program, I did abide by his principles of believing in yourself and becoming my own Santy Claus.

Turner spoke in parables and is a great speaker. Despite a harelip which made him sound nasal and slurred a few words, this man can speak and inspire.

After listening to Mr. Turner, I realized that h aving a college degree without knowing how to use it. I also realized that I had to "take back my mind" as Turner stated "because you lost it"

His speech on "the great brain robbery" was so true and awe inspiring.

I wish this book was still available. I know all of those members of the graduating class at Notre Dame would buy it in a second.

Great man--great philosophy.

I love reading success stories. Real life stories about real life people.This story about Glenn W. Turner is without a doubt, one of the greatest success stories of all time. A man who was given the least chance to succeed, but succeeded nonetheless.It is also a story about the abuse of power of the government at that time.My only complaint is that GWT didn't go deeper into his "DARE TO BE GREAT" Success principles. Perhaps that will be the topic of a future book.All in all, a really interesting book. I would suggest Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill and Maximum Achievement by Brian Tracy for more on the "how to" of success.Mr Turner: I hope you write another book that covers more of the "how to" of your success and covers more of your "DARE TO BE GREAT" success principles.

In this excellent book, the only one actually written by Glenn W.Turner, you will learn about the 5 steps to Total Lifepower and success.Turner explains that we all have the Lifepower within us. His system bringsit out.

A fascinating story of how Glenn W. Turner went from rags to riches and would never give up no matter what the challenges before him. An inspirational and motivational look at overcoming every conceivable obstacle to become a success. There is truth to the phrase: All things are possible to those that believe. The book discusses how to be successful in Network Marketing and how to be successful in life.

In 1969 I was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. As I layed in bed hopig to recover, I felt as though my entire world had collapsed. My old job was gone, money was running short and I wasn't sure if I would be able to walk normally, if at all again.Then a friend loaned me a record by Glenn Turner called; "Glenn Turner Speaks Out". I felt as though Turner was talking directly to me and it really inspired me. A key phrase by Turner; "Confidence is the bullfighter who goes into the bullring with mustard on his sword." really fired me up. (Previous to this record, my self confidence, self esteem and self concept had dropped to zero)My Doctor informed me that I recovered faster than normal and I truly believe that it was this and other records by Turner that made the difference. Easy to see why Turner recieved special recognition from the recording industry for this record and why it went on to reach gold status in sales.It is great.I highly recommend any and all records or tapes that you can get by Turner. He is indeed the master of motivation. Nobody, does it any better.Thank you Glenn Turner for getting me back on my feet.
