5.0 out of 5 stars A small quaint NY town is overrun by a religious cult., December 1, 1998

This is an absolutely incredible book. As an avid, lifelong reader, I can honestly say that this is one of my top favourites! Scott's style is wonderful and captiviting, and his characters are both loveable and despiseable. I shall say no more, for fear of giving away too much, but I beg you all to read this book!!

4.0 out of 5 stars A seconf time around, May 16, 2000

This review is from: Turning (Paperback)
I read this novel several years ago, and found it again while unpacking some boxes. I decided to read it again, and it is still as good as the first time. The story invokes anger, fear and a feeling of helplessness. Simple concept - and difficult to dismiss, because it could happen.
