Turok 2 was actualy a good game. That Australian kid waswrong! This is actualy a good game, as far as Gameboy goes... Thegame bites at first but it gets better. The bullets may look like balls but so what? It is the game that counts. I have played alot of Gameboy games an seen a few that are worth getting, and this is one of them.

Well, this is a good game, this was the first game I have played with a gameboy. It's really fun to try the game out once in a while even though it's old. Well, sort of. I used cheat codes in this game. For some codes, invincibility is DLVTRKBNRG, unlimited weapons is DLVTRKBWPS, Lives is DLVTRKBLVS, and Bird mode (which is pretty cool) is DLVTRKBBRD. To activate bird mode, press select, A, B at the same time. But hey, cool weapons. Chain gun, a powerful cannon, pistol, arrows, dagger, all a good weapon to use. If you have this game, tired of finishing the first level? Want to move on? Type DLYLWKVYYC in the password box in options and you are in the second level. Overall, even though I talked more about the game than my opinion, it is a cool game!! 9 levels, no blood (which is not that bad), is a good game.

The Turok series is more well-known as a First-Person Shooter (FPS) series, but I may as well stick with the Game Boy games, which are classic 2D platformers.

Turok 2 has it all: A rocking soundtrack that is some of the best the Game Boy has to offer, great-looking graphics, and awesomely hard gameplay! There is also a nice variety of levels (Like a jungle, city, cavern, mountain, etc) and collectible items, such as a multidirectional gun that you can shoot enemies with.

The game might seem like a beat 'em up at first glance, but of course, it's not. The first level has you roam a city, attacking mutants. But once you turn into a shirtless swordsman, you have to kill them all to move on the fully-platform-orientated levels.

While the game is very fun, it's difficult, mainly because you actually take a good amount of damage from touching an enemy (Around 12 HP). Sure, there are medkits that help you take less damage, but there are also no checkpoints. I'm going to guess that's why you start with 10 lives. And plus, if you enter in a password save, it doesn't revive your lives.

But flaws aside, this is a remarkable game that shouldn't be too looked down upon. And for $4 bucks, how can you go wrong?

I had this game for 3 years now and I love it the graphics are great and the guy that said the bullets look like balls I,m with him. Well anyway youve got to buy this game. Also the game is a little frusterating, but at the end it's nothing but commen cents so buy this. Your not wasting money!

This game looks really good at first, with the high res opening credits and options. But when you actually atart the game it is pretty pathetic. There is a wide selection os weopons however thay all shoot the same stupid grey balls for bullets! Big fat grey balls for bullets? The gameplay can be good sometimes but the game is so repetetive. The new turok game sounds a lot better so i suggest that you but that instead if you had your heart set on turok.
