Expect to devote a significant chunk of time to this title: the estimated completion time for this game is 45 hours, which rivals The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in game size. Product Description

In order to keep the Primagen from escaping, Turok must keep the wall between Earth and the netherworld secure. That's not going to be easy. Trek through seven huge Quest Mode levels, including the "Port of Adia" and the "Underground Abyss." There are over 30 enemies to battle, each with unique AI, and there are an additional five bosses each of which is unbelievably vicious (especially the Queen Mantis!). You'd better bring your courage, because you can be sure your enemies will bring theirs.

"Turok 2: Seeds of Evil" has a lot to love about it. The music rocks. The graphics are still quite good for N64 standards (especially if you have the Expansion Pak). It controls just fine (get used to the C-button controls). There's some good multiplayer. It's a bloody, gory mess. And the weapons are freaking awesome (just wait till you see the Cerebral Bore).

But there's a big problem with it: DESIGN

I'm not talking about the art direction or graphical look. "Turok 2" is still a good-looking game with gruesome enemies and solid lighting effects. But these levels are confusing as all hell, with the exception of the 1st one. If we had a better story to go along with it, then maybe there'd be a reason to plow through. But for whatever reason, Acclaim & Iguana decided to force the player to scour every inch of the 6 levels, and if you're stuck, you're stuck for good.

You will be required to light beacons, find keys, and rescue children. Again, Level 1 isn't so bad, but Levels 2-6 are gonna be a pain in the butt if you get lost. The map you're given sucks. And to make matters worse, you can't leave or quit levels once you've selected them.

But if you're not too proud to grab a strategy guide or go online, then "Turok 2" will be more fun than perhaps some of us had back in 2000. The combat is still a blast (although the final Primegen boss is impossible without cheat codes). The presentation is sharp. And the Turok world is still very unique from today's overload of military/war shooters.

"Turok 2" was one of the N64's most critically-acclaimed titles for the console, rightfully so. But be warned, it'll test your gaming logic more than you expect.

At first I didnt know what to expect. I mean after all a sequal isn't as good at the first. Not in this case. Turok2 is the best out of all the 4 Turok games for Nintendo. With its great graphics and new weapons this will probably be one of the best games you can buy. The game might be old and not as good as the newer games it still brings exitment to your finger tips.

One of the best things about this game is when you kill an enemy you can sometimes cut/blow off a limb, and blood just comes pooring out.

The enemies might not be as smart as other games and stuff, but they can be hard to kill.

If your looking for a good game with loads of fun, hard lvl's and tons of secrets then this is the game for you.

If you think this game is good and the other ones after it are too, your thinking wrong. I was dissapointed with the other Turok games, they have horrible graphics and its totaly pointless.

This game might not be sutable for all ages

While the first Turok was a great game, there was too much variablity in gameplay -- long, boring sections followed by areas that were almost impossible to beat. Turok 2 maintains solid gameplay throughout, and aside from the framerate/accuracy issue, has a strong mix of action and puzzles with good gameplay throughout.

I have every major console, and Turok 2 is still one of my favorites, even compared to the newer Dreamcast games.
