In these six 1960–61 issues of the long-running comic book, Native Americans Turok and Andar continue seeking a way out of the canyon in which they’re trapped. Even more admirable than Turok’s resourcefulness at dealing with perils ranging from ferocious primitive beasties and poisonous volcanic ash to hostile primitive tribes is his patience with his rash young companion, whose impulsiveness all-too-frequently sets the many conflicts in motion. The stories are formulaic but sturdy, with the artwork ranging from pedestrian to not primitive but, perhaps, primate-ish—not an inappropriate visual approach for these primeval tales of dinosaurs and cavemen. --Gordon Flagg

This book contains six issues of the turok comic, published by dell, from the years 1960-1961. These, are some of the finest of silver age comics, and good luck on finding these issues for even five bucks a copy at some garage sale. This is the best deal you'll find out there for these stories.There are roughly,16 more of these archives on the way, but a run well worth saving up for.
