good book for people from Oakland or Emerald Triangle,

This book is an easy read. If you've read David Rains Wallace's book "Klamath Knot", a natural history book, this is NOTHING like it (though that is a wonderful natural history book). This book takes place in Oakland, Humboldt, and Trinity Counties. It was exciting to read about places I've been many times, and situations that seem unlikely, but certainly not impossible in this area. If you're from northern California, this is a good read.
