The over ear design makes this pretty much the only headphones that stay in my ears.

The non tangle cords kinda work. What they do is prevent the cords from sticking to each other, so you can easily untangle it. They are more like easy untangle cords.

The Mic is high quality. Probably better than my actual phone's speaker. In line controls also work on android devices.

The cord is really long. I'm six feet tall, and when starting them, the end of the cord reaches my ankle. You can easily putyour device in hoodie, and hide the headphones under it.

The actual sound quality is decent as well. Much better at bass, but can do the whole frequency.

If you are an Xperia Play owner, you will need the FIIO FU2 adapter for these headphones to work.

When i first bought ear force, i had somewhat good expectations, you know... since its turtle beaches. the first week it was okay but the fiber skin of the wires had ripped (for no reason i am aware of) and i was surprised, since i thought it was durable. it still worked the rest of the first week even with damage, but it happened a second time the next week... at this time i started praying for the ear buds to last at least a month so i would not look like a fool for buying this, but it did not last, the so called "durable ear buds" broke after falling on the ground... for the first time... i don't know if i bought a bad copy or what but this did not make me happy. but when it was working, this was the most comfortable ear pieces I've worn yet... after i figured out how to put it on... but the people in the comments section were right, the mic was not good quality, nor was the ear buds themselves... it is better to buy a 10$ ear bud like i did the next week... at least it lasted a month...

I bought these headphones 8 months ago because of the braided cable. I believed the reinforced cabling would help with longevity. I was wrong.

Besides from what I thought to be minor defects :
The left ear bud wiring was visible; the rubber rubber part underneath the braided cable was visible.

Thinking it was minor I decided to keep them. I use them regularly and the sound was great. One of the best isolating ear buds I have ever owned. but After 6 months of use at work and at school The left ear bud started failing. At first I thought it had to do with the connection that I described above, but the failure was actually related to the Y split point in the cabling. If I pinch the Y split the sound comes back to the ear bud. Initially it was once a week where I would get the sound to cut, but it has gone to the point where only the right side works unless i am squeezing the y point in a specific way.

I thought these would last but they obviously haven't, They have been stored in a case and the wiring has never been pulled, It is a problem with manufacturing.

To summarize great sound and isolation, but I hope you don't need them more than 6 months.

I got these on a flash sale from turtle beach. The wire was messed up out of the box. The inner wire began to protrude in several places from the outer fabric coating, and one place had exposed metal wire. They still worked but I sent them back to TB. i got a new pair from them in two weeks. This second pair was a little better. the inner wiring only came out right behind the earbuds on both side. About a month later, They just stopped working. There was static in the earbuds whenever the wires moved, the mic was messed up for Xbox live and skype, and they stopped working completely with my iPod. Don't buy these. they have OK sound quality, but they won't last.

I purchased these in mid 2013 for a highly reduced price from the manufacturer. Just over a year later, the left earpiece - and by design, the mic - stopped functioning.
Prior to this, however, the ear buds were beyond fantastic. Audio reproduction was great, noise isolation superb and they just stuck to my ears. I used these exclusively for working out, so I sweat a lot while wearing them, which explains the cracking on the wire and potentially the eventual failure.
I would have wished for more in terms of durability, but I cannot fault the sound quality.
Would definitely buy again.

I bought these for $10 on a "flash sale" so I can't knock 'em too much but quite honestly they aren't worth more than that. I was highly disappointed there is no in-line volume adjustor, that just sucks. The sound quality rivals a cheap pair of Apple ear buds and nothing further. The 10mm drivers make no difference whatsoever. If you can snag these for $10 do it, but anything over that hit up your dollar store instead and get something far superior.

I've had four of these and I had an issue every time. I believe one time was for heavy static, two of the times were from the speaker blowing out, and another time was when the wires got messed up at the top on both sides. When the set actually works, it's decent. Most things sound fine. The pouch and buds it comes with are alright. The design to keep the buds in your ears are alright; it usually works, but a lot of the time, the wire that is supposed to be around your ear falls off. The set itself gets tangled very easily and it is very difficult to untangle thanks to the design of the ear buds themselves. They always hang on it wires when you are attempting to untangle them. A RMA with Turtle Beach takes about 3 weeks. Unfortunately, it takes just as long for them to get messed up again.
