Great solution for hiding scratches,
This review is from: Turtle Wax T374KT Color Cure (Black) 16Oz (Misc.)
I have been using black Color Cure for about 6 months or so now on my 07 FJ Cruiser. The biggest plus to this product is that it actually does work to hide small surface scratches and chips. I have a few spots where small rocks have chipped the paint and I have filled in the paint with the "Chipstick" and then wiped away the excess. After covering the area with a good coat of the wax and wiping it away as instructed (allowing it to dry to a paste first) the chips are not noticeable from a foot away.It does not repair the scratches or chips, but does hide them while helping to generate a glossy mirror like shine to the non scratched areas of the vehicle. Yesterday I had someone vandalize my car and make a deep scratch in the paint down to the metal. I have about a two week wait to get it in the body shop, so I tried the Chipstick & wax to mask the scratch. I was amazed that after working in the waxy Chipstick and applying a couple coats of wax the scratch was barely noticable. I still Know it is there, but to the average person walking by it would appear that I had a freshly detailed car with clean paint. In my experience the best approach is to clean the car well, fill in with the Chipstick, Apply a coat or two of the black wax, and then follow with a coat of premium high tech wax. THE SINGLE GREATEST ATTRIBUTE OF THIS WAX IS THAT AFTER APPLYING IT AND WIPING IT AWAY THERE IS NO LEFT OVER WHITE CRUSTY MARKS TO BE FOUND ON THE VEHICLE PAINT OR PLASTIC...

I looked everywhere in the stores for this type of product and could not find it. Amazon was a life savior. Great product! After one use, it made my paint look like new and the shine lasts a long time. Make sure you ware gloves because the pigment is strong. Color stick was OK, no great breakthrough there. Product was worth the price for sure but the shipping was a killer.

extends the life of your paint - REALLY!,

Our daughter has a black '97 Mustang. Sitting out in the HOT southern summer sun is a killer on dark colors - no matter how clean it was, it looked hazy.. UNTIL we tried Color Cure. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! She has used it faithfully for 4 years and when it is polished, the car looks like it has a new paint job. Absolutely like night and day! Word of warning, though, make sure you apply it wearing rubber gloves - otherwise your hands and fingernails will be black for quiet a while! And it's always a good idea to wear really old clothes so the black will not ruin anything you care about. Other than that, it is a great way to extent the life of your paint!
all I can say is: BUY IT!!!

I just got a 2009 Nissan Versa 3 weeks ago and some idiot in a parking lot scratched my front hood. My dealership tried to buff it out but even though they are two tiny fine lines they are very deep. An auto body shop estimated $400 to repair! I decided to try this wax instead since the scratches are fine but stand out white against my black paint. When you use the fill in stick put the wax directly over it before rubbing it in. Let the wax dry and harden and set in. After 3 coats the scratch is barely visible. I also waxed my whole front hood to blend in better. Makes it look nice & shiny. I am going to do at least 2 more coats on the scratch itself to really mask it. Works great so far, we'll see how it will hold up! Great for the price!

One Fantastic product. Turtle Wax needs to expand this product. I have used this type of wax for years and would not think about using anything else. It fills in the scratches nicely. Turtle Wax should read my review of their product and increase production of it along with its other colors.

If you own anything black and can find this stuff, buy it,

This stuff works great, but as like another review mentioned, it could stand to hold up longer by itself, BUT, it is more for hiding nicks and scratches then it is for a straight wax job. I have a all black Expedition, so it takes me awhile and i like something that works and holds up between washes and waxing.
What i found that works the best for me and holds up really well , wash your vehicle , i use straight turtlewax car wash with no wax, i have found that some waxes and car wash soap with wax in it may swirl after you wipe of the dry wax. i use Kitt or turtlewax with carnubba , then after i wipe it down, i use the color stick on the chips and faint scrathces, this way on my vehicle holds up really well ,doesnt leave polishing swirl marks. and looks great after. Word of advice on cleaning your hands after using the color majic, a decent hand cleaner, like fast orange, gojo doesnt seem to cut it very well.

This is a good product that has apparently been taken off the market by Turtle Wax. The wax , itself, doesn't last long at all, however, if you apply a coat of Collinite Hard Wax afterwards, the color effect of the wax will stand up. Turtle Wax did have this product in a paste form that was awsome. Again, it didn't hold up long but had a better filling quality.

Don't buy a black vehicle without it,

If you have a black vehicle (I have two) you need this product. The front of your black vehicle will eventually start to show all kinds of scratches in the paint which will absolutely drive you crazy trying to remove. The filler is basically a lipstick tube which you can use to fill any noticable surface imperfections or scratches which will occur just by driving the vehicle on the highway. I like to leave the filler "rubbed" in to the scratch and then it evens out when the wax is applied over and removed after it dries to a haze. The wax is definately BLACK in color so consider any applicator or buffing material used to apply or remove the product WILL remain black after you are finished. If your hands or clothing make contact with the product, they will also be black for a good while. Repeated use improves the results each time and you will notice the improvement with the very first use. Availability is getting scarce so you may want to purchase a couple of bottles to keep on hand when you find some.
