if you child loves giant squids but does not know much about it, this is a great introduction, full of facts.if you child does not know about giant squid, and you want to introduce deep sea life and this mysterious creature, then this book is perfect. it is fun and engaging. It has all the basic facts and is entertaining. I think this is best for 5/6 year old children.
