4.0 out of 5 stars Overall a nice product
These were more comfortable than I expected. I put them through some heavy use on rough bottoms in French Polynesia and they stood up well with the exception of the inserts coming loose after about a week but I expected this given the constant wear in water. It's not a big deal to hold the insert in place when slipping your foot in. Definitely not made for walking on...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good enough for a diving trip
These were convenient, easy to pack, and held up to several days of surf strolling, rock scrambling, and rinsing out at the end of each day. The back pull string was sufficient to let my gf wear the slippers in the surf as well. The inner sole slipped out for rinsing as well.

Good for the price, but don't expect them to last until next year.

These were more comfortable than I expected. I put them through some heavy use on rough bottoms in French Polynesia and they stood up well with the exception of the inserts coming loose after about a week but I expected this given the constant wear in water. It's not a big deal to hold the insert in place when slipping your foot in. Definitely not made for walking on pavement out of the water but exceptionally comfortable for what they were designed for -- wearing in the water. Soles are thick enough I never worried about what I was stepping on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than barefoot in the pool!!, September 3, 2010

I wear a woman's size 10 shoe so ordered these in size 8. They fit snugly but quite comfortably - are smooth inside so nothing to rub my toes as other shoes have done. They are light on my feet, easy to pack in the bag, and don't slip on the pool bottom or tiles around the pool. Am completely happy with these water shoes.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good For The Price, September 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this as a beach shoe to use on the beaches of st lucia(caribbean) and as a way of convenience going into the water and chilling at the different spots along the beach without changing. I first wore this shoe to a very sandy beach and after the day the rubber sole was starting to show signs of wear and tear, so think the material is very cheap or was store for too long. For the price though its still a nice beach shoe.

Due to a long-term illness, I had to start walking in the gym's pool. The pool's rough bottom was cutting my feet and since I have diabetes I have to careful of my feet. These Tusa Reef Tourer Dive Slippers are just the thing to protect my feet while I am working to regain my strength and start being able to actually swim again.

These work fine as beach slippers but are uncomfortable and not at all appropriate as slippers for diving, ie inside flippers. They should not be advertised as such. Would not purchase again.
