I wasn't happy with this cookie jar for several reasons. It wobbles (the bottom's not flat) which sometimes happens with pottery but a little quality control should have caught that. The lid doesn't quite fit on tightly but it does seem to keep cookies okay. The color is not as pictured. This is actually yellow rather than cream or ivory, which doesn't blend well in my kitchen. Wish I'd kept looking.

I surprised my husband with this Tuscan cookie jar and he thought it was beautiful. It's not for cookies though. We keep his home made granola cereal in it. It's perfect. It matches the decor in our kitchen and the size is just right.
