I have thoroughly enjoyed this cookbook. The recipes are authentic and definitely not the same recipes you see in your typical Italian cookbook. The author has noted the preparation and cooking time for each recipe which is also helpful for planning. They are quite easy and fairly quick to prepare which is an added bonus. I've already prepared about 15 of the recipes so far and would serve almost any of them to company. The book has now moved into my "trusted" category - one from which I will serve a dish to guests without having tried it out beforehand. I have especially enjoyed the soups but all courses are covered quite nicely.
